We went on Horizon in February. The chef was funnier than anyone in the comedy club. I think the kids would love it! But I agree it does take a long time. And they serve a lot of food, probably way too much for a 6 year old.

Since the restart, I have taken a small tub of collagen powder several times in my checked luggage. No problems whatsoever.

We just got home from a spring-break cruise out of Mobile with our granddaughter. (By the way, we all had a blast!)
Since she's 14, she didn't need photo id. We used her BC, and had a letter from parents saying we could take her out of the country, and could get her any medical treatment. They never asked for the letter.
Love to make memories with the grandchildren!

Yes, it's Miami time, which is Eastern US. I'm in Central, and I get to check in at 11:01 p.m. the day before.

We've have been on the Breeze and on the Horizon since the restart. My husband is the beer drinker of the family. He says he did not notice any difference from before. But on the Horizon, he mostly drank the West Coast IPA. He really liked that.

We did two 5 day B2B on the Breeze in October. Received champagne and fruit. Since we don't drink champagne, we brought it to our son.
We did 8 day then 6 day B2B on Horizon in February. We got the fruit, no champagne. We hadn't even thought that we didn't get some in February until we saw this post. 🤷♀️
BTW, we're Platinum.

Thanks for the review. I hope they have the bugs worked out and the weather cooperates when we arrive on April 11.

Make sure everyone has the Hub on their devices. It's hard to download it once you're on the ship.

I've done this before. Yes, you go to guest services. I was told Carnival doesn't care who you sleep with. 🤣

Since restart, I've cruised on Breeze and Horizon. Both had the little glasses. I guess it depends on the ship.

Carnival goes by Miami time. So it would end at 11 p.m. for me.

Not one for every cruise, but for my New Year cruise on the Breeze, I got 2 a day starting a few days before we cruised, and every day until the day after we got back.
I think someone in their IT department needs some training or something!

October, off the Breeze and into the car, not self-assist, at 8:30.

I crochet, and take small scissors. My husband takes his pocket knife. We haven't had any trouble with those items. I can't swear that I've seen people knitting, but I believe I have.

The middle plan lets you access websites. Before Covid, it was extremely slow, but with the ships not at full capacity, it doesn't seem so slow any more. If she gets on board and finds she needs more speed, she can upgrade to the third plan.

"Obviously, we are not Carnival cruisers but because MG lives 30 minutes up the road from WW (SB) and NW (NW) we wanted to see what the fuss is all about. I'm sure it will be fun, but you will never know how much."
I'm not sure exactly what the above sentence means, but I am going on the Breeze over Christmas, and I hope my cruise will be as much fun as I'm sure yours will be. But, like you said, you will never know how much. 😁

I was on the Breeze the last cruise of October, and the first cruise of November. B2B
The first cruise, my sister was looking for a bathroom and we went into the midship dining room, and there was our muster station, so we did that first. The second leg, my sister went home and my husband boarded. He had early boarding. I met him at the door, and we went to the muster station at that time. So on those cruises, muster stations were open when boarding started. BTW, it was super easy!

When did you go? I had friend that did a Mardi Gras B2B and they had to get off the ship and get the test in the terminal , but that was back in August so hopefully that has changed. (I am going on a B2B for Thanksgiving)
I was on the Breeze Sept 27 and Oct 2 out of Galveston. On the first debarkation day, we all had to meet in the dining room. After everyone was off the ship but before the new guests came on, we all walked off together and met the customs guy in the (empty) luggage pick-up area. It didn't take long at all. Then we all walked back on board together. (20 or 30 of us) They served us a glass of champagne and took a picture of all of us. Then we were free to go.

I did! It was wonderful! We had to have a Covid test the last sea day. They tell you which lounge to meet in. It doesn't take very long. That's the only difference from a B2B before the shut down.

Good to know. Thanks!

I have that cruise booked, and I paid much more than that, but not as much as I see it listed for on Carnival's web site now. Too bad I don't see your rate when I search!

Ordered a 3-pack from Optum on Sunday. They said 2 day delivery. I was skeptical since I don't live in a metropolis, or even in a city of any size. Got it late this afternoon. So far, so good.

You have no choice what to spend your OBC on.
Your on board account just starts with a negative balance representing your OBC.
As charges hit the account, your balance changes until you get into the positive where you now owe them.
Very good explanation!
