  1. We hired a photographer to get family pictures on our Oasis cruise. You need to go to the photography studio and make an appointment. We had our pictures taken in a private room in the photo studio. There were 14 in our family. The following day we had rented 2 beach bungalows on Labadee and he met us on the island and took more pictures of our family and my husband and me. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. In all he took 100 pictures and we chose to buy 30 digitals to the tune of $1600. Not cheap but well worth the memories for years to come of this once in a lifetime event.
  2. Since this is the first cruise after drydock and there will not be any passengers disembarking on the 24th is there any chance we will be able to embark by 10 or 10:30? Also, will our rooms be available before the usual 1:00 pm? Thanks for any info you can provide.
  3. Thanks for all the info on Adventure Ocean. We will be on the Nov. 24 cruise with our children and grands celebrating our 50th anniversary.
  4. We are going on a family cruise with 4 children, ages 4-7. I am not familiar with the ins and outs of the kids club. Do we register the kids when we get on the ship for the week or do we have to go thru the process every time we want to leave them. Do they have a "maximum" number each level can accommodate? Does that fluctuate? I could use some advise from parents who have had experience with the kids club on Oasis. Thanks a bunch!
  5. We are going on a family cruise on Oasis and want to sit for a family picture. Can I make an appointment for the sitting? Do I have to wait until we are onboard to schedule the appointment?
  6. We have 2 beach bungalows reserved for our family of 14 on Oasis. We would like them to be next to eachother but have read that we need to wait until we are onboard to reserve our location. We are Diamond+ and am wondering if the Concierge would be able to assist us in getting bungalows together.
  7. The speciality coffee card is being offered for $31.00 for 15 speciality coffees. When I read the fine print it says that Starbucks coffees are excluded. I was under the impression that Starbucks was included. Has the policy changed? Also, if I have Starbucks gift cards can I use them on the ship? If you have purchased the speciality coffee card I would appreciate your comments. Thanks.
  8. We booked 5 central park balcony cabins on Oasis for our family. One cabin is for 4, and 3 cabins are for 3 people. My question is when more than 2 people are booked in the cabin can they also take advantage of the dining perk that is part of the package. It clearly says lunch for 2 is included at 3 different venues. Has anyone who has booked more than 2 people in the central park balcony been able to include all people who are booked in that stateroom for the free lunch? I appreciate your feedback, and thanks.
  9. Thanks everyone for enlightening me on the internet packages. I lucked out when I checked the cruise planner and found a nice discount on the package we need with the advice from all your cruise critic posts.
  10. I am confused about the packages offered for our cruise. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. If I purchase a 4 device package can we all simultaneously connect? Does each device have the same login code? Thanks for any info.
  11. I want to book a party of 10 for MTD and can't figure out how to do it on the Cruise Planner. All I see is planning for the Speciality Dining packages. Where do I look to make reservations for MTD or traditional dining? Thanks in advance for any help offered.
  12. We are doing a cruise on Oasis and I am conflicted about what kind of dining times will work for our family. We have a 4, 5, 6 and 7 year old little ones plus 3 teenagers. The 4 smaller kids are very picky eaters and probably would not do well in the main dining room. The 3 teenagers would enjoy the main dining rom along with the parents. If we take the younger ones to the Windjammer early for dinner can we take them to the kids club so the teenagers and adults can enjoy a dinner in the main dining room? Any advise from families who have dealt with this issue would be appreciated.
  13. We are very interested in a cruise from Singapore for 2021. Seems we cannot book online as the office is closed until Monday. The one question I have is the required deposit refundable if we cancel before the final payment date. After reading several websites I am still not clear on this issue. Also, does Costa follow other cruise lines that offer a refundable or non-refundable option? Thanks for any information.
