  1. Do you know if you have to pay for it when you add it or can I pay with the final payment, which isn't due till January. It is a casino rate.
  2. I am told the Lobster Benedict is worth the upcharge. I definitely will try it on my cruise in March. I used to get steak and eggs but probably won't if it is not filet mignon. So many complaints about the upcharges. There is so much waste I would imagine people will waste less if you have to pay for it. Cruising is still the best value in vacations IMHO.
  3. Merritt Island also has a Ross, or there are some boutique stores at Cocoa Beach pier. Capt BJ is right the mall was struggling when I lived there 2 years ago, but they do have a Macy's. If you have a car Cocoa village is a really cute shopping area with boutiques and restaurants. https://visitcocoavillage.com/hcva-map/
  4. Thank you all for the responses.
  5. Does anyone know if the Rockstar agent can be contacted before the cruise to plan some surprise birthday celebrations?
  6. I was on the same sailing as a couple previous posters 6/4 and knowing in advance the shortened itineraries had a marvelous time. The Crown does have an outstanding crew and there was so much planned entertainment. Even the 20 year old in our group stayed busy. I think you will have a great time in the ports, yes it was a little rushed in Juneau but we did whale watching for 2 hours on a boat and saw a bunch of orcas and humpbacks. In Skagway there was plenty of time to do 2 excursions and wonder around downtown. You will love glacier bay. in our group of 6 no covid, I have tested 2 times since back. Go with a great attitude and you will enjoy your self. Have a wonderful cruise ⚓️
  7. I got off the Crown Saturday with a credit balance and my credit card still has the $100 (hold) charge they put on when we sailed. I will wait a week before I call. Anyone else leave with a credit and how long till it is in your account?
  8. I am doing self assist but one of my friends on the cruise is using Port Valet flying on Delta. When did you pay your luggage fees? When you do your on line airline checkin or do you know if they can prepay on the original flight to Seattle precruise?
  9. 3 days if you are vaccinated and departing in Seattle. Effective April 1, 2022, pre-entry COVID-19 tests are no longer required for Fully Vaccinated travelers entering Canada by air, land (rail), or water (marine vessel). This means when a cruise ship enters one of Canada's ports, no COVID testing is required for fully vaccinated travelers (very limited exemptions). In this case entering Victoria, BC. For pre-embarkation COVID-19 testing, since this cruise embarks/originates in the US (Seattle), you must use US CDC and cruise line requirements for negative COVID-19 testing prior to boarding. (Canada's pre-embarkation testing requirements have no bearing here as you are embarking/originating your cruise in the US not Canada). our testing requirements for cruises that embarks/originates in the US are in the Princess FAQs,
  10. I love your attitude pkt1976, I agree being on vacation is better than work any day. Traveling is an adventure, especially nowadays, we all have to have a little more patience to get it back. I am on the 6/4 sailing with 5 friends. lokking forward to your perspective. i pray safe travels and a fun adventure.
  11. I agree, keeping a positive attitude and can’t wait to see Glacier bay. Putting it in perspective we are blessed to be able to cruise.
