Yes it is true. You can obtain a “liquor bottle menu” from the precruise Haven concierge or your butler will provide you with your options once on board. Unfortunately when we were in the Viva OS on the November transatlantic cruise a couple of our preferences were not available even though they were “on the list”

The Free at Sea gratuities are for the specialty dining and drinks package. The service charge is the more traditional on board gratuity for cabin stewards etc.

You are welcome. Just be aware the door is heavy and is not labeled (or at least it wasn’t in May). There is a scanner pad for your keycard like when entering the Haven area on the floor where your suite is located. The Haven staff can show you how to exit the Haven lounge through that door and then you can find it again later😊

There is also a key card access door into the Haven lounge on Prima if you decide to use stairs rather than the Haven elevator. We used this door frequently coming up from our suite on deck 12 during our May transatlantic cruise.

Thanks for the advice and information everyone. We were mostly worried about not being allowed in the terminal if we arrive prior to our official check in time as we are arriving in the area mid morning and have transportation prearranged. It sounds like with Club Orange that worst case scenario will be sitting in the lounge a little longer waiting to board but at least not out in the sun. Thanks again

Hello Cruisers-We are dipping our toes back in the cruise pool this weekend for the first time since COVID19 and haven’t been on HAL for over 10 years. Can someone please enlighten me as to how priority boarding works when our boarding pass shows both priority boarding (Club Orange) and a designated boarding time? On other cruise lines, traditionally priority boarding has allowed us to arrive at the pier and board at our leisure. Thanks for your assistance
