Anyone else getting these emails to enroll in C&A continuously?

For me, changing my gender didn’t work. But changing my birthday did the trick. Thanks for the tip

Wow, I am pre-gold again. Logged out and in again, but that didn’t help. All past cruise show up.... This is really getting old and boring....
Cindy

That is their solution to having too many upper tier members. You have to re-enroll and start over again with zero points.
If that were their solution, I think TPTB would all have to go into hiding [emoji33][emoji6]

You may have to change your login name to your email address. That's what many of us did when the website was first changed.
Thanks for the answer, but I did that weeks ago when my login wasn’t working anymore. They really need to get their act together. Luckily I made screenshots of my cruise history...

I just got an email asking me to enroll in the C&A society to receive benefits on my next cruise. It shows my correct points and status. I am confused. IT at work or should I enroll again?

Their website is getting worse. I was pre-gold at zero point five minutes ago, is that a new status? [emoji85]All my past cruises showed...Logged out, logged in through old website, logged out there. Then I logged in again on the new website and my points and status are back. I don’t like the new website. At all!!!!! They love yanking our chains at Royal....

It was HORRIFIC. It barely worked. It took some time to get our money back as well to the point where we no longer get Internet onboard anymore.
Sounds like the speed we had on Rhapsody, thanks for your reply
^ just realize that's quite variable and should be much better in general on an O3B equipped ship.If we were to believe the products (ie surf and stream) Royal sells, one would think all ships have O3B. And we all know Royal never sells something if they can’t deliver... [emoji6][emoji23]

Kinda hard to surf without a Flowrider, which Rhapsody doesn't have.:p
I didn’t mean on Rhapsody, but on the sea. I guess it came out wrong... [emoji5]

Thanks for asking this question.
I was on Rhapsody out of Venice in 2016 and will be sailing on the Brilliance this summer out of Amsterdam.
While on the Rhapsody I visited speedtest.net and had 800mS latency ping with under a Meg download speed. That was with Surf and Stream also. Not much "streaming" with that slow of speed.
Not even much surfing on Rhapsody either, unless you had a surfboard.... [emoji6]

Brilliance should be similar to Rhapsody.
I've recently heard that it does not look like there will be any more new O3b (higher bandwidth on the newest ships) deployments to older ships in the near future.
Thanks, Bob. I’ll spend my money somewhere else, like buying a second Ixpand for my ipad and store a ton of movies on there. And download like crazy on netflix and amazon prime before leaving. So happy we can now use our 4G for free anywhere in Europe.

HI all,
Wondering if anyone has sailed Brilliance in Europe and how did you find the speed for surf and stream? Were you able to watch netflix? We had Surf and Stream on Rhapsody in Europe and the speed was useless. Thanks

If you are from the UK you could check out flights from London Gatwick on Norwegian Air. I flew with them last year for a one-way to Orlando. Their prices can not be beat, cheap enough to add an extra bag and if you book early enough and snatch an exit seat you'll have tons of legroom. The only downside is the entertainment system, choices are pretty poor. What I usually do is check prices for the same period, a year earlier, so I have an idea how much the flight will cost. Enjoy your crossing.

Still immensely enjoying your review, Harry. It’s great to see that St. Maarten is slowly recovering.

I have the Canon SX60 as we are Canon family. Here is the link to Amazon for it. I bought mine on sale directly from Canon when they had a refuribished sale prior to Christmas couple years ago. Take a look at the Panasonic zoom as well as they get good reviews.
Thanks a lot. I think I already looked at it [emoji846]

Hi, Cindy,
How are you? It is good to talk to you once again.
Yeah, I started this trip report on New Year’s Day and just prodding along at my usual snail pace.
Thanks as always for the kind words. I upgraded my cell phone just prior to the cruise so I think some of the night pictures are more clear compared to the prior report. Amazing how great these phone cameras are like these days.
I now realize many people don’t sleep on the long flights. I need to invest some money on a good soft eye shade before I do another red eye flight across the country.
Doing great, thanks. Seems you and the family are too. But the boys are getting bigger each time. Hoping our paths will cross on a ship some day.
You mention a 60x zoom camera. Which one do you use? I have an SLR but thinking of investing in a good compact one. And yes, cell phones are amazing!
I have an amazing eye shade, very tick and fluffy by eagle creek
Back to reading mode now [emoji3]

I can’t believe I didn’t see your review earlier. Someone must have hit me on the head. As always Harry, you put a grin on my face quite often. And your pictures are truly gorgeous!
I am sorry to say that sitting next to me on the plane wouldn’t have done any good for your beauty sleep. Unless I have 3 seats for myself (it happened once) and can lay down, I can not sleep on the plane. So my monitor would have kept you awake. But not as much as the loud and obnoxious idiots that talked all the way from New York to Paris on my last TA flight, and did very loudly!
Thank you for sharing with us and for an awesome read!

H10 London Waterloo is amazing. Rooms are not big,but very comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast buffet. The best I ever had. It’s also pretty close to Waterloo station.
You could also check out Premier Inn. Reasonably priced and they have hotels all over the city (even in Southampton)

Are you one of those peeping toms -- going up to the rail and leaning over to look to see what the other folks are doing on their balcony? We had one of those on a TA and felt like we couldn't even get dressed without closing the curtains.
I most certainly am not. I am shocked you even asked. [emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33][emoji33] Ever been on the hump? Enough said.....

We did Westbound TA on Freedom in October and weather was fab. Was too hot for us some days (but then we're from Scotland) ;-)
Sent from my SGP312 using Forums mobile app
The Eastbound was not hot. Super Mario was on his 20th TA and said this was the worst weather he had. [emoji846] I hope I am not the one messing up the weather.... We’ll know soon enough [emoji16]

Having a balcony, especially on a long cruise, is great. You can just go over and open up the door and smell the fresh salt air. Of course, you could go out on the open deck and do this, but then you have to get dressed.
On my last TA on Freedom you couldn’t use the balcony a lot, it was extremely windy and pretty cold. I hope a Westbound TA will be warmer.
And you better get dressed on the balcony too. Seeing a guy in the nude on his balcony on Adventure scared the living daylights out of me [emoji33][emoji15]🤪[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
