  1. Paul Gauguin only has the kid’s program during the summer. We will go on our fifth PG cruise in January. We have never seen small children on the ship. I’ve sailed Oceania and love it. Also have done a few Windstar cruises. For Tahiti, PG definitely wins. They have several Tahitian dancers, ambassadors, on board. They are so interesting to interact with and see perform. They have a private motu at Tahaa with a barbecue, drinks, and Tahitian activities. It is always a favorite day. For our 50th wedding anniversary, we did the wedding vow renewal ceremony. Truly magical.
  2. Thank you all for your great ideas!
  3. I will be on the PG in January. We are scheduled to be in Rangiroa from 12pm to 5:30pm. Does anyone have any suggestions for independent things to do in this time? Are there any nearby places to snorkel? Most of the independent tours I've found start in the morning. Thanks for any help. Gail

Deck 4 is really convenient - nothing is far away. I wouldn't do deck 3 because that is where disembarkation takes place and line up for tenders. With the small size of the ship, it is really nice to hang out on deck or one of the bars.
  7. One topic that has not been addressed is that Oceania, on the Marina, has a wonderful art class with a dedicated instructor and included supplies that are included for no fee. My last cruise, I came home with many paintings on canvas that were really fun to do. There was also a photographer who gave complimentary classes. There was a special kitchen set up where classes were held where we got some great recipes and ate our creations. I really enjoyed all of this. It is something that Celebrity has really reduced in the past several years. I am Elite Plus on Celebrity, but I'm switching t
  8. The PG is set for the refurb in January.
  9. I just heard from my travel agent that the PG cruise for Oct. 31 is cancelled.

  11. I'm keeping fingers crossed that everything goes well. Husband and I are scheduled to take the reunion cruise in January. Gail
