  1. We had the ultimate plan in December on the Harmony and it included all lunches on sea days as well as the Galley brunch on the last sea day. That was nice for something different and you got mimosas or champagne. You could also order other drinks.
  2. We are booked on an excursion on the Fan-ta-Sea through Royal Caribbean. It looks like it might be on the Bluewater Safari since that comes up with I search the name. I've read some bad reviews on here and just want to see what others have experienced. I figured it would be better booked through the ship since I read a couple of posts about Blue Water not showing up or honoring the booking. Also if booked through the ship is alcohol included? It doesn't say if it is on Royal's website. Thanks.
  3. The private tour is awesome. We've been to Pinel Island a couple of times. We wanted to make sure no problems getting back to the ship in time with all the traffic. It's more private and secluded than the touristy beaches and you have to take a boat to get across to it. (unless you want to take a kayak). LOL The private tour definitely lets you customize what you want to do and how long you stay. We usually organize a group in our roll call for this. I think we had over 30 people last time. The only downside to that is not everyone showed up like they were supposed to and you have no way of knowing who the people even are that wanted to go.
  4. By experience. Just keep watching your cruise planner. They have sales all the time. Just keep in mind that sometimes when they say it's a "sale" they mean off the ship's price, not what is normally in your cruise planner. Sometimes it's actually the same thing they were quoting before the sale. LOL
  5. I agree with you 100% People just don't get that this is not all about alcohol. We drink a lot of bottled water and get those large bottles at dinner of San Peligrino or Aquapauna. Those are at least $5 and you can get the large bottles during the day to take to your room or off the ship with you of Evian. Then there's the fresh squeezed juices, mimosas at breakfast and if you go to a private island it's all included and free. I am not a big drinker but I want the convenience and know it's all paid for ahead of time with no worries about a big bill at the end of the day. Also, you don't have to buy for each person in the cabin if one doesn't drink for whatever reason. Last time I couldn't because I was on medicine, called them up and no problem, just buy the refreshment package. And did I mention that it also includes milk shakes?? It's a no brainer really if you are going to drink all of those things, water, soda, fresh juice, energy drinks, vitamin water, martinis, wine, frozen drinks, drinks of the day, beer, etc. GO FOR IT. It's your vacation enjoy and have fun.
  6. I absolutely recommend Bernard. We use him every single time we are on St. Martin and we have stopped here a lot cruising over the years. Mailman is excellent and the value for your money is cheaper than renting a car (and worrying about traffic, which is a lot, trying to find your way around and getting back to the ship on time) or getting a taxi. We always do the Tour #2 or a private tour. We've been to many beaches here. The tour gives you two beach stops, Orient or Grand Case and a stop at Maho beach to watch the big planes land over your head. You also stop at an iguana farm and Marigot for pastries. And did I mention their famous rum punch? You can't beat the price. It's rated #1 on trip advisor.

  8. 6662 please? Also is it noisy on deck 6? I normally pick 8 and our friends are on 6. Thanks!
  9. Our sailing had a large price drop and I was able to upgrade to a ocean view balcony with the larger balcony for free. It is on deck 8. This is our first time on this ship. Is this a good deck to be on with no noise? I’ve tried finding pictures of the cabin 8198 with no luck. Any tips or advice is welcome as we sail 12/9. I did make reservations for the shows and bought the dining and beverage package. Thanks!
