    I don't drink a lot but the reason I get the drink package is for the convenience of not having a lot of extra charges. It defeats the purpose to have extra charges to get the drinks I want like a basic pina colada. Also, many of the glasses of wine are over the limit. Maybe they are trying to get everyone to upgrade to the elite package.

    So what is the purpose of a drink package if everything has an extra charge? Will this hurt the sale of drink packages? I would rather have them limit the number of drinks per day than limit the price.

    The price of drinks was increased a few months ago and I just assumed that the current limit of $11 would be increased also. Any word on this yet?

    Was James a good singer and piano player? Do you know how long he will be staying on the Rotterdam?

    I was surprised at how much I liked the Rotterdam since my previous favorites were the smaller R class ships. I actually found the Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam to be more crowded.

    I don't remember any live music by the pool for a number of years. Did I miss it?

    Always ask for something you can't find. They usually have it.

    Since the beds are located near the balcony, I would assume that the sofa with the pullout bed would be near the bathroom in all the vista cabins. (Unless there is an exception for a handicapped cabin.) Of course, make sure that the cabin indicates room for 3 people so the sofa will include the pullout bed.

    Last year I paid for screw top water cans because it wasn't included in the HIA package. The pop top cans don't work well for going ashore.

    And they will have to turn it in or lose their jobs.

    I think the contract was up with Billboard just like it was with Lincoln Center and HAL decided not to renew.

    We don't come here to discuss the biggest problems in the world. We discuss things that make our life more enjoyable. And, having a drink package that includes most drinks makes my life easier which is why I buy it.

    Maybe if people get fed up and quit buying the HIA package, HAL will get more realistic in the rules. I don't think it is fair to have to upgrade to the elite package to get basic drinks that should be included in the regular package. I hope this money grab backfires on them.

    I just assumed that the price limit would be raised when the drink prices went up. I can't believe they haven't done this yet. I get the drink package for the convenience of not having to worry about extra slips to sign. Since I never use even near the 15 drink a day limit, I would be willing to have the number of drinks reduced if that would allow the price limit to be raised.

    Was the concept ever "dueling pianos?" What would that mean? I thought it was always dual pianos.

    I also think you should get HAL involved. Just keep calling until you get someone willing to help you.

    Are you saying that the new Puerto Plata cruise terminal also has a pool area and entertainment area similar to Amber Cove?

    Is the priority door at Port Everglades new? I never noticed it before.

    Generally a Priest has been onboard my sailings. It has been reported that occasionally a Priest is not available due to illness or some other problem but that is the exception.

    I wish I would have known this yesterday for the $1 deposit sale.

    My understanding was that Club Orange had to be paid when an upgraded cabin was assigned.

    I think if they are going to raise the price of the drinks they should raise the allowance for the drinks. You shouldn't have to buy an upgrade to get a standard drink.
