  1. Wondering how many passengers are stuck in in Israel and won’t be able to get to Istanbul to board the ship.
  2. These two couples are currently at the airport in Israel waiting for their flight to Dubai and then on to Istanbul. The flight has been suspended.

  4. How are passengers who are already in Israel supposed to get to a different port… Athens or perhaps Istanbul if there are no flights from Israel to these other countries?
  5. I know 2 couples currently in Haifa. Supposed to board on October 15. Would be very difficult to leave Israel and fly to another port in another country with all the conflict. I’ll bet there are other passengers who went to Israel before the cruise.

  8. The Loden. Boutique hotel that can be booked thru American Express Platinum. Can walk to Joe Fortes!!! We had a great dinner there.
  9. We were on a cruise from Stockholm to South Hampton. There was a young couple with a 2 year old little girl. They were in Pacific Rim seated in the middle of the restaurant. The child cried and fussed the entire time. Everyone was annoyed!
  10. The glass water bottles in the rooms are awful! Too big and heavy. Makes a mess when pouring water into a glass. I won’t drink that as I don’t know what’s in it.
  11. We bought rubber collapsible water bottles on Amazon. Easy to pack. I insist on having bottled water while onboard and use it to drink in our room and to fill our water bottles. We rinse out the bottles with hot soapy water and air dry.
  12. We live in NE Florida and prefer to fly Delta from Atlanta when flying internationally. Last November Regent wouldn’t put us on the direct flight from Atlanta to Rome. We had to fly out of JFK and had to change terminals and the train was not working. Just awful!
  13. I understand how the Air Department works. My concern is at the 210 day booking is how many Business Class seats are left when the airlines have been selling them months earlier. By the time you speak with the air department and then decide to get your own tickets the fares and availability has changed since those flights originally went on sale. We have been flying internationally again since September 2021. Planes are full.
  14. With booking only 210 from Embarkation how many seats will be available on flights? Airlines sell seats 320 days out. Regent May have contracts but if there are no business class seats left then what? Why the change to 210 days?
  15. I’ve reached out to Ms Teegen several times and have received a quick response. She’s great! So helpful!
  16. The bathrooms on the Voyager, Mariner and Navigator are outdated compared to the two newer ships. The stall shower is very small and has one tiny dish to put soap or your shampoo. They usually fall off! The lighting is awful. The shower/tub combination on the Mariner is dangerous! The storage is adequate.
  17. What happened to the passengers from the previous cruise who were in quarantine and not allowed to disembark in Yokohama ?
  18. Gray Lady: You must realize that most of the passengers on your cruise will be selecting shore excursions 365 days out. By the time you are able to select the excursions will more than likely be sold out. Especially if the ship is full.
  19. Did you have a direct flight from Lisbon back to USA or a stop in Europe ?
  20. My main complaint is being notified 2 weeks before a cruise that a booked shore excursion has been canceled. Not the fault of Regent but unfortunately it’s too late to book another for that port as they are sold out. Shore excursions are booked a year in advance… they book out. We have been cruising with Regent since 2001 and are experiencing more excursions being canceled for a variety of reasons.
  21. It’s unacceptable to go to ANY port where the infrastructure is that bad where there is not enough tour operators or tours available to a ship with 700 passengers. Don’t tell your passengers to figure it themselves!
  22. We were notified yesterday by a email from Regent that our shore excursion in Kodiak , Alaska was canceled. We immediately called Regent. The other shore excursions are sold out . Regent agent would not waitlist us for the other excursions as he said there were too many passengers on the waitlist. We were told to go that morning in Kodiak and perhaps someone will not show up for their excursion. Needless to say very annoying! Regent needs to make sure that ALL passengers have the ability to book a shore excursion!
  23. My friend onboard said that the Passover Seder was fabulous! Good to hear that.
