  1. Hi, newcomer to Princess and have a question that maybe someone can help me with. If we book a cruise later in 2022, and they cancel do you get a refund or FCC or what? We had used a TA last year for a cruise that was cancelled by them and they offered a cruise in the following year, which did not suit us or a refund. We just are interested to know if they always give you the option of refund as well as other options. Also, what if they cancel before or after the final payment...does that affect what they offer? Thank you in advance!
  2. Thank you so much for sharing your trip report! Please have a wonderfully safe and fun cruise!
  3. Wow, thank you for the news Kathy! I will have to try and see this! Hope you have been well.
  4. I am so sorry to hear of this news and thank you for passing it on. Rest in Peace David.
  5. Thanks BigMac for the update on Capn! It is good to hear he is well. He truly is missed.
  6. I seem to remember reading the tales of Capnpugwash (Fin) and he used to mention Arecibo. Has anyone heard from him? Miss his reports.
  7. I also miss your wonderfully written reports and hope you are doing well!
  8. We have stayed at the Four Seasons and agree it is a nice choice in a good location. We have also stayed at the Hyatt (previously Four Points by Sheraton) at Darling Harbour which was also nice. Another place I recommend is The Grace which is in a great location as well, kind of nearer to Darling Harbour but not too far of a walk to Circular Quay. It is also close to the QV Building and Pitt Street Mall. Sydney is a great place full of lots of things to do and see!
  9. Hi all, I remember reading about this somewhere but cannot find the threads so maybe you can help me. I thought I remember logging onto the Cunard site and being able to see a list of my previous voyages as well as my current CWC tier, but cannot see that anywhere now. Is there a place that, maybe I am not seeing, to see this information? I have emailed Cunard to ask the question, but sometimes I never get a response. Still waiting at the moment. Thanking you in advance!
  10. I understand what you are saying regarding supply and demand, but think that with the past year and the companies needing "us" to revive their business, you would think they would give that a bit of weight in the pricing decision. Wishing thinking, I know.
  11. If you are docked overnight in Honolulu, Oahu, you can come and go as you please. You just have your card scanned when you get on and off the ship as per normal. Just be mindful of the time to be back onboard when it is time for the ship to leave. 😉
  12. Tom, that is great information if you're going to be on Oahu for a few days or more. We have been a few times and took the bus "around the island" twice. It is a great way to get the feel of Hawaii and see it in a general sense. Thanks for the tip, as I am sure it will help someone.
  13. I have never considered purchasing FCD but keep reading the threads about them, so now have question. If you have to purchase a FCD per person on your booking do you get two times the OBC as well? (2 x 175 pounds towards an Interior cabin = $400 OBC)? Is that correct? Thanks in advance.
