We will be in Tortola from 7am-3pm in December (on the NCL Escape). We're trying to juggle multiple family members interests when choosing our activities for the day. We would love to do NCL's Radical Rides Adventure excursion, which is supposed to be 3 hours in duration, picking us up at the pier at 8am, and then also do the Dolphin Royal Swim (through Shore Excursion Group) in the afternoon. The dolphin swim is from noon to 1pm, but we have to be there 30 minutes early and it says it is a short (5-10 minute) taxi ride away.
We've never been to Tortola and are wondering if this is doable. Are taxis readily available? Can we rely on the NCL excursion to end around 11am, giving us 30 minutes to get to the dolphin swim?

Thanks Barry, that is very helpful! I did go ahead and reserve 5:30pm dinners for nights we were planning to go to 7:30 shows. We'll have to get our body clocks switched over quickly from west coast timing!
After I made the dinner reservations, the online vacation summary showed 1.5hours for all of the dinners.
Thanks!

We'll be going on the Getaway for President's week. I'm working on making advance specialty restaurant reservations and also show reservations. I've seen some posts saying you have to get in line for the shows (e.g. Burn the Floor and Legally Blonde) a half hour before even if you have reservations? How long before the show start time do you recommend making dinner reservations? For example, would we be safe having 6pm reservations at a specialty restaurant and still making it to a 7:30 show? I'd rather not eat TOO early, but also don't want to wait until the 10pm show times.
Thanks for any advice!
Possible to do Radical Rides Adventure AND Dolphin swim?

OH NO - I feel like an idiot now! Thanks so much for the information. This has been last minute trip planning and I saw Nassau (one of our other stops) said they were fine, didn't realize Tortola was hit so hard. So sad.
