  1. I haven't used them yet but I just signed up for a day tour from Dublin to Cliffs of Moher and Galway so I'm following along. Their reviews on Trip Adviser are very good so that's what I went by when deciding to book.
  2. I forgot to bring hairspray on our Vision Transatlantic this past April and the only place that sold it onboard was the Spa.... Price for a small spray bottle was $34.95 USD! Needless to say, I went with messy hair until we got to Ponta Delgada!!
  3. We were on an Explorer 7 day Western Med cruise May 7th (Barcelona to Southampton) and we had lobster tails on the second formal night. They were smaller than the ones we had on Vision on our Tranastlantic but much tastier and of course, our waiter brought us two or three each!
  4. We boarded Explorer in Barcelona a few weeks ago on the 7th of May and were on the ship before 11:00 a.m. It was a very smooth embarkation and no real lineups. Great!
  5. We just returned from our two cruises and I put together two different tour groups--- one to tour Palma Mallorca and one for Valencia, Spain! I've used Spain Day Tours for our tours the past 4 years and have never ever had a bad experience. They are (in my opinion) the best tour company in Spain. Their prices are excellent and the guides they provide are always very knowledgeable. I never worry that we'll be late getting back to the ship since they always have us back with more than enough time to spare but we still get a great tour. Their email responses are always prompt. I will continue to use this company any time they offer tours for an area we will be in.
  6. We were on the 17 day Vision Transatlantic crossing that left Galveston April 19th, and the app was useless to most of us.. it just did not work! For example, we could not access our account and since Vision is an older ship, the account info was not available on TV. If you wanted to double check your account, you had to go to Guest Services for a printout. Some days we could pull up a few of the activities from the Cruise Planner but it was not consistent. Most of us deleted the app and relied on the paper Cruise Compass for onboard activities. Hope others have better luck than we did.
  7. Same for me using the corrected bookmarked site. Ok for a day or so then back to U.S. prices.
  8. I just did a couple of mock bookings for 2020 and after entering the names, date of birth, etc as the final step, the next screen gives me an additional add-on amount for refundable (along with dining options and prepaid gratuities). Not sure why it's not showing up for you.
  9. Identical to what's happening to me on all 3 devices. I am logged in now too so fingers crossed that it's fixed.
  10. Thanks so much for this great comparison! We just booked our first Celebrity cruise (Transatlantic, April 2020 from FLL to Dublin). I'm even more excited about it now that I've read the posts here!
  11. We did a Transatlantic on Jewel in an aft cabin (9660) and never saw a speck of soot on our balcony in the two weeks we were on the ship. We did find bits of food on our balcony a few times .... likely tossed or blown from the outdoor Windjammer seating area. Have the same cabin booked for our Scandinavia/Russia cruise in May 2020.
  12. We are diamond on RC and just got our status match email last week from MSC.. .we are Gold on that line. I think they've changed it recently and are no longer matching Black with Diamond and Diamond +.
  13. We got a great price on an aft facing balcony. Had the same cabin two years ago when we sailed Jewel to the Greek Isles and we loved the aft cabin. I'm a happy camper too...or I should say "happy cruiser too". 😄
