How Long before Sail Date do you book HAL Excursions

Thanks everyone. I have now booked all my excursions for my April Sailing. -
Just wondering how far in advance of cruise sail date do people book their excursions through HAL. If you don't book until you are onboard, how likely is it that excursions will be full?

Looking at all the named beaches in Carlisle Bay and Brownes beach looked as if may be far enough from Cruise terminal to not be too busy. Can anyone please provide any information on Brownes Beach or a better, non crowded one they reccommend.
