Asia cruises are apparently the best for selling in a short time frame before departure. Is leaving Serenade in Singapore an option that could happen?

That Quantum Port Booking for Hong Kong first appeared on the cruise terminal website 10 November 2023. Took Miami a while to cancel the cruise. Not good enough!

The Quantum cruise from Vancouver to Honolulu October 2024 has disappeared from the website. After this Quantum was supposed to run non revenue to Singapore for dry dock. In November 2023 a port booking appeared in Hong Kong for Quantum 23 October 2024.

I was reading elsewhere that the Serenade World Cruise.might be finishing in Los Angeles according to onboard rumours. Miami Office claim they are monitoring the safety and Serenade will sail as planned.

Via Darwin, Port Douglas, Airlie then Brisbane. Navigator is going into dry deck next month and wouldn’t need another one until November 2026. So why via Singapore I assume? On paper to me it looks more like Voyager to Brisbane.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to send Quantum to LAX because she would have been been thru a dry dock. If Ovation went to LAX it would have to go back to Singapore for a dry dock early 2026. Sending Ovation to Singapore for Christmas 2025 makes more sense. I can’t find any port bookings for Voyager, Navigator or Ovation over the Oz Summer 25/26 period besides the ones for Voyager in Piraeus to work the Holy Land cruises in November and December 2025. This got axed when the bombings started but never was announced.

That’s true about Luminosa and Princess in Melbourne Geoff. That booking is still active for Splendor in Papette September 2025.

Not to my knowledge Geoff. Serenade was in Antarctica earlier in the week.

Besides a booking for Carnival Splendor in Papette September 2025 I can’t recall Carnival companies ever doing bookings they are not going to use. Guessing Royal Deployment is fun because they keep on changing what they are doing. It just goes on and on and on. Ovation 25 must have been allocated to California at one stage or still is. I did read a cruise magazine article about a year ago with the author saying he can’t understand why Quantum Class isn’t on Antarctica runs,

No you don’t have to pay the gratuities for drinks on cruises from Australia on Royal. The only exception maybe Serenade on her World Cruise

Yes Quantum working Ovation’s cruise is what I think is the most likely. But here is something to think about. If you add the time of arrival from Hawaii Ports into Honolulu for Quantum together with the current Ovation departure cruise still on sale to Vancouver this time could easily be used for Spectrum of the Seas US Coast Guard inspection to enter service in the USA. Probably not going to happen but it certainly could explain why so much time in Honolulu and Royal could be looking for an Anthem replacement.

Royal did have 2 port booking in Hawaii April 2025 for Quantum. They now are one day out. For Quantum and Ovation. Ovation TP is currently not on sale in most places Sydney to Honolulu. Ovation has never appeared on Hawaii Ports.

Thanks for this site Geoff! I notice on this page Vision Of The Seas 24/25 season is the booking name for 3 cruises Cairns and Port Douglas. I do not know if they are traces from Brilliance being here next season.

One of the Travel Agents based in Sydney which may have been owned by Royal is selling a package to The Holy Land ion Odyssey of the Seas in October. This cruise has been changed to Greek Islands etc for a few months now.
