    Haines, Alaska?

RCCL just modified our June Alaska cruise, adding Haines from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Any info appreciated.
  3. Ok, I'm interested! We often are in Jr Suites and have never even seen the Coastal Kitchen. What ships have them and what meals do they serve and are those staying in a Jr. Suite able to eat there anytime? TIA for any and all info.
  4. Has there been any updates? Checked with RCCL today, and their word is that they are still going to Nassau in early November. I haven't heard or seen that the Bahamas have opened their ports yet.
  5. We can drive or fly (from upstate NY). Have been on many cruises, for the last few years mostly Royal Caribbean and ready to try something else. Might like to try west coast/Pacific Ocean/Panama Canal. I also have 2 people ( all three of us are 65 and older) that use scooters and we'll need a handicap accessible room. Thanks
  6. I received an offer from Carnival Cruise Lines. The offer is for a free balcony room, $400 OBC and $1,000 Funplay credits. Since I have not sailed Carnival in at least 6 years, I am struggling about which ship/itinerary to choose. Any suggestions? All help is greatly appreciated. TIA
  7. We went to Ardastra last time we were in Nassau. It's about a 10-15 minute taxi ride, and I think it was about $20 or so, but the cost is posted at the pier, so check in advance.
  8. Does anyone know if we can L&S a Club Royale free cruise? We are scheduled for a 4 night from Ft. Lauderdale on the Indy in August, and are now looking to L&S to the Mariner in March 2021 from Pt.Canaveral. Thanks for any assistance.
  9. Just a word of advice-When I went to purchase a scooter for my 93 year old Mom, the dealer in our area ( and a Medicare rep) told us that Medicare no longer authorizes payments for or towards scooters. I purchased really nice one and she uses it whenever we cruise or even go on a days outing. Best money I ever spent!
  10. My favorite moment on a previous cruise has to be our family Thanksgiving cruise out of NOLA. Our family is separated by many miles (New York to Hawaii). Original plans called for us all to meet up the day prior to the cruise in NOLA and travel to the ship together. Flight delays and other obstacles had us all worried that some of us would miss the ship. But we all made it and made plans via numerous phone calls to meet on the pool deck. Just prior to sailing we finally saw the rest of the family approaching from the opposite end of the deck..Two of my great- nieces dropped their carry-on bags and took off running the length of the deck and jumped into my arms, nearly knocking us all to the floor. Soon we were all in one place at the same time. A fantastic vacation for all of us.☺️
  11. We have asked in the past and were told you can't use kids sail free with free casino cruise. They want gamblers in those free rooms, but you probably should ask again. Maybe paying for the room with the casino rate can be combined with kids sail free. Good Luck.
  12. Hi all. I know that in the past someone posted a link to a site where you could see any offers you might have from RCCL Club Royale casinos. Now that I need it, of course can't find it anywhere. Can you help? TIA
  13. Don't really know the taxi costs, but it's in walking distance. Just on the other side of the Straw Market.
