Don't bring up facts, you will be accused of taking things off topic.

Governor set to open things up more this week? Maybe......he has press conference Thursday. Schools back in modified opening, less covid tests so hopefully cases are down and it's not because tests aren't done. Had both vaccines so after next weekend will be considered protected. Big issue here with folks from SC showing up here for vaccines.
Hope all of you are well and sane.....hard to believe it's been a year!!😪😕

GranysT, sounds like you really need to call Carnival back and ask for some definitive help. There have been glitches in the system for the past year with all the cancellation and rebooking etc

I have a close friend whose 14 year old is in a Covid vaccine trial.....got first shot last week

I don't think anyone can really answer that at this point. I would imagine the menu wouldn't be revamped completely.

Our numbers go up and up with holiday surge and no maskers although more businesses are finally cracking down on that and some finding that requiring masks is actually helping their business as folks who want to be out but cautious are patronizing them ...too bad they didn't do this last summer. ....vaccines starting up as enough doses show up regularly but distribution is a mess. Supposed to get first shot next Wednesday!!!. Modified lockdown till Feb. 2. Hospitals about maxed out which isn't good😣

Didn't find roll call for your sailing. Here is link to the roll card forum where you can start one for your sailing in 2022.

This isn't about MSC but will leave as long as it doesn't get political!!! Vaccination will hopefully lead to cruising starting up so that's my stretch for leeaving. So please no political stuff...😏

As you can see, there is now a new thread for discussion of refunds. Never thought last March we'd still be doing this.
keep it on topic ok?

A while back this topic floated off into other topics and it's doing so again re Cruise cash, AARP etc. I was asked to keep it on topic so people can find codes. It's either about Allstate cards or its a general thread???
Alternatively I can lock this one, start Allstate thread #2 to start the new year and keep it on topic?

Fyi, since someone asked earlier, a response to a deleted post will be removed if it quoted the deleted post . Too often an informative , long, on topic post will have some political or personal snarky stuff tacked on at the end.....not only does that post go but all responses quoting it.

Princess and HAL have excellent onboard programs by naturalists, park rangers etc to enhance your Alaska experiences. Imho, Alaska is about the destination, been 12 times, all on Princess but one. Carnival, NCL and RCI can't begin to compare. Don't miss Glacier Bay...

Our governor is allowing cocktails to go till current level of restrictions ends January 31. Will help a little with current curfew etc. One drink per person to go. I'll have that 24 oz margarita but just one straw, please😁
Be safe out there folks. Happy Holiday! It has to be better next year

I would call Carnival if you don't have a travel agent.

Destroying a lock down from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM through January 8 on this coming friday as cases are really surging here and still a lot of people not wearing masks. I'm sure they will be very upset about new year's eve as bars and restaurants have to stop serving alcohol at 9:00 PM and everything has to be closed by 10 except food, pharmacy and fuel. Last I checked there were 8 covid positive guys on the Panthers squad so wondering if they will be playing the Broncos Sunday

Shortages due to issues on mainland and storms blew sand into channel at the Roatan supply port and supply boats ran aground -- looting etc, a mess. No idea when channel can be dredged. Covid still an issue. Interestingly the broker they worked with is still selling properties even though flights are still erratic and expensive. A few resorts open. They were here to check on businesses when island shut but have live in caretaker thank goodness.

Most of this is bickering, arguing stats that have nothing to do with cruising etc. Off topic, political ........maybe overnight cool down will help.

Thanks for updates. Some restrictions eased in NC last week, lots of people getting appointment for vaccines but a lot still scared of side effects. Bar and restaurant workers can get now so my son and one of his bartenders driving to Shelby, about 60 miles away, to drive through clinic Saturday. I had my shots in February.
Interesting to see how Spring Break affects our lowering case numbers.......
