  1. Wife is handicapped and I am concerned about the wait for wheelchair boarding in Los Angles for our Eclipse Hawaii cruise. Note I have requested wheelchair assist from Celebrity, and have rented a wheelchair for the cruise, just concerned about being turned loose at the pier with luggage and wife.
  2. My wife is a wheelchair user but can walk short distances, but stairs are out. She can step into a tender, but not go down the stairs. Has anyone used the wheelchair lift down to the tender on the Celebrity Eclipse? Various calls to the Accessible folks have not been helpful, depends on the Capitan and we fully understand. We are on the upcoming 15 night Hawaii cruise in October, and two of the ports are Tendered. Thanks for any help. Jerry
  3. Kay can walk short distances with a cane. Steps are very difficult, and we have to be very careful. (major back surgery – osteoporosis). We booked this tour a couple of years ago through Celebrity assessable shore excursions before the cruise. ShorexAccess@rccl.com They sent us a pdf file of assessable shore excursions that we picked our tours from. We really enjoyed the train ride and the Alaska cruise.
  4. Trusty old Nikon D5200 with Sigma 18-250. Jerry
  5. Oh my, the good old days of cruising. Our first cruise was on the “Seabreeze” 1994, then we moved over to the Galaxy, Mercury, Constellation and Century in the late 90's.
  6. Thanks, I expect it does and will report back.
  7. My Dear Wife is handicapped, and we rent a wheel chair for our cruises. She can walk short distances, but cannot do steps very well, especially the steps down to a Tender. We learned quite by accident on a recent Alaska cruise on the Solstice, that they have a wheelchair lift and were able to roll the chair on the lift and took her down to the Tender. Everyone we asked said she had to be able to do the steps, until we ran into the Capitan and was told where to go to get the lift. We are doing the 15 night Hawaii cruise on the Eclipse this October, and wonder if anyone knows if it has the same lift, and have used it. Jerry
  8. Thanks, be able to check e-mail. I don't really need the internet, just nice to have. Jerry
  9. We will be on Liberty over Christmas and are Diamond courtesy of Celebrity Elite +. What if any internet does Diamond allow us? Jerry
