DW is asking - do they still do the 'stitch and *****'/'knit and natter' sessions? On Voyager a few years ago they had complimentary embroidery kits which she thoroughly enjoyed doing (and still uses the end products). -
There will also be a cultural bias in the sample, seeing as how Which subscribers will be almost exclusively British. This will affect perceptions of US styled cruise lines versus UK styled cruise lines.

We have just booked our second RSS cruise for December on Splendor. I was a bit concerned to see the posts about the missing crab legs, as DW was all over them on our last RSS cruise. The soft shell crab will definitely interest us both however.

I thought that most cruise lines add a fee of 3% to 5% to do this? I cannot believe Royal Caribbean do not do this. -

Bacon grill was OK - I used to make a decent spag bol or shepherds pie with the corned beef. The Cheese processed went into/onto the instant mash on the shepherds pie. You did need some extras (onions mainly) to jazz it up a bit.

As were oatmeal blocks. Let us not discuss baby's heads though...

I did watch the funeral on Aurora. I was in blazer and regimental tie - almost all other pax were in shorts and t shirt or the equivalent. I was a bit disappointed.

I am in for this auspicious society. 22 years in the Territorial Army (British Army Reserve AKA the Beer Army): 3 drinks is just getting started. In our shooting team, the first three or four drinks were 'warmers into the bank' - the rest were 'shots down the range'.

You may think that, I couldn't possibly comment. DW ( a New Yorker) likes her cocktails, so I start the ball rolling with a cosmopolitan - then we hit the recipe books while dinner is being prepared.

At home, handover is 17:00 hours (leaving espresso martinis out of the reckoning, as they just confuse things) - on holiday - I shall plead the 5th!

We made our best cruising buddies in the smoking area on Azamara (other smoking areas would work). You see the same people regularly; it is next to the pool bar and smokers are an endangered species so tend to bond in adversity. We still cruise with them, even though we have all quit smoking now.
