  1. I agree. I downloaded the app and answered all their questions until it asked for our yearly income. I figured it was none of their business and “dismissed” it, but it wouldn’t allow me to skip it. Then I read their privacy policy. Oh, boy! Immediately emailed them to ask that my private information not be shared. I couldn’t get any further on the app, so just deleted it. Am I now stuck not being able to get my shareholder’s OBC?
  2. Put it in your checked bag, and it won’t be a problem.
  3. @HaveDogWillTravelI’ll keep those wet towels in mind!
  4. @cactusroseWe’ve been through the canal a couple of times, so this is a repeat with friends. As your friends are doing, they are staying in the cabin next door, so we can open up the balcony divider. Slow going through the locks will enable us to use the side balcony, which is covered. Our cruise is in January, so hopefully it won’t be too hot. I don’t mind people being able to look down on us if we’re sitting aft. As @HaveDogWillTravelmentioned, if it gets too hot, the wet towel on the shoulders sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately when we booked, full suites were limited, so this was our best option. It’s part of a world cruise.
  5. We are booked in A726 for the Panama Canal in Jan. 2025. It appears to be a very narrow cabin compared to our previous suites on other ships. The bonus is the balcony with side and aft views. If the cruise you’re looking at is after that date, I can come back and report. Chances are someone else will chime in who’s sailed in one of those cabins.
  6. Because I wasn’t able to book the 360 dining on line, I wrote an email to Customer Relations and asked for help. In less than two weeks, I received a call from Princess, and the lovely gentleman took care of our reservations for the dates and times we wanted! They now show on the app. Way to go, Princess!
  7. It may be related to the weather. Depends on your itinerary, but Fall is a lovely time in the SF Bay Area. Spring can be a bit chilly.
  8. One thing you may want to consider is if your balcony is covered. Some are partially covered and others are not. It helps to look at a photo of the back of the ship, or look for a video on YouTube.
  9. I just tried booking the 360 Experience and even though we’ll be in a full suite, the App wanted to charge us. I went ahead to book it, and got a message that an error occurred and kicked me out. Tried two or three other dates, and the same thing happened. I am using the old App.
  10. I googled Facebook Princess CVP and it came up with phone numbers and a lot more information. Good luck!
  11. Even over the counter medication like Ibuprofen (Tylenol) is contraindicated when taking Paxlovid.
  12. Thank you for the information. I just checked our April itinerary and then the port schedule for Mahogany Bay. It only shows that the Carnival Jubilee in port the day we’re supposed to be there. We’ve heard nothing from Princess about any changes.

  14. D736 can have a queen bed, but it looks as though D741 will only accommodate two twins. I found the photos on line, but have never stayed in either cabin. Maybe those who have will chime in.
  15. On our upcoming b2b cruise, we’re both in the green lane on the old app. I haven’t downloaded the new one. Any reason I should?
  16. If sailing in a full suite, dining in a specialty restaurant is free on the first night of the cruise. I wonder if they’ll add on the 18% and charge the folio.
