  2. You can also order a 'double' glass of wine and they will give you 2 pours in one glass. Easier than waiting for a refill. If you have a package this will count as 2 drinks.
  3. It's listed on the Emerald too (though not Gazebo). I think I have seen this on some ship I was on, but it turned out to be just a glass case that displayed all the accessories one could purchase. I never saw anyone selling from there...though it could have happened during certain hours.
  4. Same thing done to the venue on the Royal, though it is called "Double Down Bar".
  5. I have randomly seen them do this. Usually when I have seen it, it's because they don't have the wine glasses they are used to using that they eyeball. That's usually at random bars where they run out of standard wine glasses (which was a weirdly constant problem on the Enchanted last fall). The other reason it could be happening is if the waiter is new and hasn't yet learned how to eyeball it? In Europe on land, I've seen it as a standard practice. I think they have laws about standard measures.
  6. From main page, scroll down to blue "Reserve Dining" button. List of dining rooms appears. Pick a dining room that says either Traditional or Flexible. Scroll down to "New Reservation" Click the pencil Click the person with the + in the upper right corner. It will display a window where you can enter their booking number. It should then give you the people who you can pick.
  7. We were told that on a different ship. It was the first time I tried to order from Good Spirits. It made me not very excited to go to this bar as it seemed inconvenient to have to check the time to see if you can order their 'special' drinks. 🤷‍♀️

It's odd because it is included in the terms in one place on the website, but not on other places. I hope they just put this in 'just in case' they decide to implement it. I have a family cruise from Seattle next year, so will be interested to hear if this is actually happening! I hope @Kb55kb will be able to tell us what's actually happening on their upcoming cruise.
  10. Personally, I've never heard of this, but haven't sailed from any of these states lately--though I have sailed 17 times on Princess and over the last few years have been buying the Plus package. What is the source of the verbiage you have posted? Where did you find it?
  11. YMMV on this. We have gotten cash (actually up to $50) and we have been told No...they don't do that and they 'never' have..... 🤷‍♀️

  14. We're booked on the Sky for the 2026 eclipse. We thought it would be 'something different' from a normal cruise. I also found the itinerary interesting and we hadn't been to many of the ports. I think had the itinerary not been interesting, it wouldn't have been worth the price....and I would never book it at the current price. After we booked, the price of our balcony went up $3000 in a couple of hours! Crazy!
  15. You have a really interesting 'take' on gift cards. I ONLY buy Princess gift cards AFTER I book the cruise.....so they are definitely cruises I want to take! You do you, but I'll take the 8% off I get buying the AARP cards..... I don't use a TA usually, but have read many posters who do and they take their gift cards.
  16. This is what we have seen lately. A lot more comedians than previously. Our last 7 day in Alaska, I think there were 4 different comedians over the week.
  17. On our last cruise, we just went to the nearest muster station as soon as we got on the ship. They scanned our medallion for us and were able to tell us which muster stations we should go to. 🙂
  18. Try using Incognito mode. Go into Chrome. Click the 3 dots in upper right corner. Select New Incognito Window Type princess.com and login from there. Worked for me!
  19. There was a suggestion on the 20% off Shore Excursions thread to try using Incognito mode in Chrome. I tried it and IT WORKED!!!! I got all my shore excursions rebooked.

  21. THANKS SOOOO MUCH!!!! This worked and I finally got all my excursions rebooked at the sale prices. Normally, we don't have a lot of them, but this one is South America and we had a lot of OBC to use. Total savings for me and DH combined was $225! ($30 here and there really adds up....) I'm thinking now that these issues must be some kind of caching issue with Princess... 😵‍💫
  22. For those of you rebooking excursions...is the website working for you? I am really fighting with it. I can log in, but once I click on a cruise to go to the excursions, I get the "Technical Difficulties" message. This happens on multiple browsers and the app. For a short time, I got in going to Princess.com on my phone, but now that is also getting the message. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!
  23. I've been fighting with it the last few days too. I was trying to book excursions. I usually do things on my laptop and no matter which browser I used I got that message. I also tried the app. Different issues, but still issues. I DID have some success earlier today, by using my phone and going to Princess.com (not using the app).
  24. I would ask your steward if it is them or room service who does the swap. On the Royal in July, I called room service and they told me to talk to my steward.
