  1. Looking at this photo for the Star of the Seas build, I spotted a potential keel section belonging to the Icon 3 (See zoomed in image below).
    I'm sure that there are other Icon 3 bits in the yard. 🤔

    A large block for the Meyer Turku ship (NB-1402 or 1402 / "Icon 3") is currently being built at the Crist SA shipyard in Gdynia. The scope of work and delivery of the Crist shipyard includes the construction of a fully equipped floating block with dimensions of 94×48×15 m for deck no. 3 of the third 'Icon' class unit. The weight of the floating block itself will be approximately 5,200 tons, and the weight of the equipment will be approximately 2,500 tons. The main elements of the block include two LNG fuel tanks. The handover of the block is planned for autumn 2024.

  4. From Port of Turku on Instagram:

    Last week, quite a pearl passed through our port. It is an element manufactured by Mobimar for a cruise ship under construction at the Meyer shipyard. The element weighing about 150 tons was moved by self-propelled trailer onto a barge and then by sea to Meyer's shipyard. #projectloading #throughtheport #meyerturku #becausetimematters #kunajallaonmerkitystä

    @Lloyd555 Nice view for sure.

    On a side note, I went to your Instagram account hoping to see some Icon images, but saw a lot of those fallen / leaping Timbits instead!
    I'm never going to look at them the same way again! Or I will think of them when I look at the Pearl on Icon. 😄😄😄

    Yup. I don't  buy them. So the least that I can do is snap a photo of them #leapingtimbits as I refer to them when I go in to buy a coffee. 😜 🏀🏀🏀
