Adult children onboard Apex currently. Even with the Zenith premium WiFi the phone calls are hit or miss. Speed test revealed about 4 mbps down but only 1 mbps up. Worked great last month !!!

I have sailed Celebrity for 30 years, over 160 cruises. When I can no longer find anything I want on the MDR menu certain nights I refuse to continue sailing with them. There are SO MANY different entrees that I used to eat that have been completely eliminated I am no longer happy.

Even the beef in the specialty restaurants has gone downhill. Here is what my son's prime rib looked like in Fine Cut on Apex a few weeks ago:

Definitely NOT the menus from the Edge class ships. Would be happy if they still had entrees like the beef tournados on the Edge class, but they don't.

I posted the Apex menus (posted above) there about a month ago.

All four are very similar with slight differences in the decoration of each dining room. They each have the same menu on the right side that changes daily. Which ship are you interested in? I have the menus for Apex week long cruise (same as Edge and Beyond).

We were onboard Apex for 4 weeks in January. On Jan 14 they re-instituted the early & late seating dining in addition to anytime. Before that it was anytime only.

With $23 billion in debt and $400 million interest charges per quarter don't personally see how they can ever become profitable. I suspect all the recent changes at Celebrity were ordered by the new Royal CEO (the former CFO) as an attempt to increase profit. With rising interest rates don't know how they can survive with $23 billion in debt !!!

Food is one of the most important things that attract me to cruising. Going forward, yes, I will be visiting more local restaurants and doing less cruising. This is due to the menu changes and the deletion of many of my favorite entrees.

We have sailed Celebrity for 30 years over 160 times !!! And yes I cruise for the food. Unfortunately the changes this month on Edge class ship have caused me to no longer be interested in sailing on Celebrity. Maybe that was their goal ???

Wondering what is up with the pasta bar? Is it open early in the evening but then closes after an hour or two?

The pasta bar is open at dinner time now? When we were on earlier in January the pasta bar was definitely closed at dinner time !!!

That is because you have lunch in Luminae on embarkation day which is a BIG step up from the Concierge lunch !!!

I agree. Just off two weeks onboard Apex. MDR menus were completely decimated. If not for the kids filet would not have known what to get. Seems like Celebrity is in bankruptcy !!!

If in a Concierge class cabin there is a free sit down lunch for you in the Tuscan MDR.

Just onboard last week. Located on deck 6 above the Eden bar seating area.

Don;t know what ship you are currently onboard but the Apex MDR menus were completely decimated 2 weeks ago. All the traditional favorites like Prime Rib, Beef Tournados, Shrimp Scampi and Rack of Lamb are gone. FYI we found that the menu's in the app are not accurate until onboard and connected to the ship;s WiFi !!!

Were onboard Apex the last 2 weeks and it is still on the kids menu there. Had it MANY MANY times since the adult menu has been completely decimated !!!

We switched from HA to Celebrity in 1993 because of the food. Been on over 160 Celebrity cruises each since. Food has been constantly declining. Sailing Apex this month. From what I hear about the changes maybe never again !!!

We booked 6 dates in Nov / Dec 2024 in Concierge. TA got a call, I don't know the details. She emailed her Celebrity marketing manager about it. Comparing my booked price with what is on the Celebrity web site now the prices have doubled. An increase but certainly less than the 10X others have quoted !!! There are MANY cruises where the price doubles as cabins are sold !!! Not a huge error in my mind.

S class ships have the connection in the vestibule outside the cabins. M and E class ships have a door inside the cabin. Were on Beyond recently with interconnecting cabins. A door with a lock in each cabin. Had to open and pop the lock to use. OP specifically is asking about Beyond.

Unfortunately going forward the customer has no idea of if Celebrity will honor any future booking !!!
