  1. Yeah, they don't have as much flexibility. The Dubai to FLL could work. Fly in to Dubai early to experience it and then you get Suez Canal and Petra, plus the really large number of ports all around the Med (look at the map and how concentrated it is in that area).
  2. Knowing PCL, the same as the old itineraries.
  3. You could use 10 devices or more. The only restriction is to be logged in with only one device at a time.
  4. PCL is INFAMOUS for not having documentation in sync across platforms and documentation.
  5. First note is 5 days longer than for past many years.
  6. IDK that particular ship these days and CC dining space has been moved on at least some of the ships. It used to be you could say CC Dining is Deck 6 mid-ship period. Wouldn't bother me to be in same DR as CC, nor does it matter much Deck 5 or 6. They sit on top of one another and same thing. A clue to identify CC dining location is if you can see a current Patter and look at which DR is open for lunch and breakfast. That is the DR with CC dining.
  7. Just curious why you left out the other mid-ship DR (Deck 6)? I always prefer a mid-ship DR since we don't generally book aft cabins.
  8. This is the second time I have seen a note about Princess App apparently not recognizing the MedallionNet package. I suppose a guest could order another one, but who knows why. I wouldn't worry about it. Login to Cruise Personalizer and look up your Travel Summary. It will show all your goodies and MedallionNet 4 devices should be listed there. Yes, the App should recognize your SD credit. Just go into DMW and do a mock SD booking. When you have selected restaurant, date, and time, go to next step where it looks to collect the $39x2 owed. It should show a $78 credit and $0 to be collected. You can confirm the booking or bail at that point.
  9. If you want to ping another CC member, you need to do it this way: 1. Type the "@" symbol. 2. Immediately, start typing their handle name like this: @Th.. 3. As you do so, a list of matching CC handles pops up, and as you type, the list gets smaller. 4. Once you spot the one you want, it is important to click on it. Critical step here. 5. When you do step 4 correctly, you will see this: @Thrak. 6. Note that the member's handle is highlighted in blue. You can now carry on typing normally other text. When you have a CC member handle highlighted as above, they will receive an email notice that someone has tagged them. Otherwise, the way you did it, it is just a random fluke if that member actually sees that you tagged them. I will give you an answer to your question as well. You first need to add your friends in the Princess App as Travel Companions. (They can add you as well). In order to do this, you need their Booking Confirmation (the 6-alphanumeric code). Once they are Travel Companions, you can set them up as Dining Companions and now you have a party of 4. Book dining the same way and include your friends in the reservation and you will be seeking space for 4 people and not 2.
  10. You cannot re-book or re-fare and keep your same perks unless the promotional fare you booked under is still active being sold and Princess just happens to lower fares on your voyage. You have to accept whatever perks are currently being offered when you re-fare.
  11. A guest can see all of the applicable rates if they are aware of a third-party booking engine that shows all eligible fares when enter your name, birthdate and Captain's Circle Member Number.
  12. A cruise booking on courtesy hold requires no deposit - that is the point of a courtesy hold.
  13. If you exit the ship smartly, you will be at the airport in minutes. Do you have TSA Pre? Do you have any airline priority? These things help. Do you have Global Entry or NEXUS? Again, helps clear US CBP at the terminal. Remember, bags are due at 9:15am for a 10:15am flight in most cases.
  14. Yes and no. We were on 4 voyages last Fall in the Med region. Americans and Canadians outnumbered the European countries by a good margin.
  15. Not sure about that one. Easy to consume OBC by opening a casino account and charge funds to on-board account. Your on-board account can show $0 or -ve$ and you may have cash in casino account (accessed via Medallion and a PIN. If you buy Plus upgrade on board, presumably that turns on board account to your owing money, so I don't see the issue.
  16. The whole article is BS. Whoever wrote it doesn't even seem to realize this package has existed on Princess ships for years. All they did was regurgitate what PCL publishes on their website and demonstrated a lack of experience and insight into the whole offering in the process IMO. All that has changed is Princess is pricing the package according to length of voyage instead of having one price fits all - at least this is the impression I have had from the get-go.
  17. Not sure what you are looking for. @Tedferg has been frequent on here so presume you have come across this topic. Like many businesses, PCL has Gift Cards (managed and sold by a third party). They come in various denominations and can be used to pay for cruises or for on board expenses. Sometimes you can purchase a card for less than face value. The cards never expire. You can find out details on Princess.com.
  18. As I mentioned orignally, it is obvious Princess App is not crediting you for the value of single device plan included with Plus Fare. This is evident since the App is showing a charge if you book 1 device as shown in the screenshot you included. Go after Princess about this.
  19. It should be $25/ day, less the discount if you are eligible.
  20. I wish Cdn posters would either indicate the USD equivalent or the exchange rate booked at. I did some Math and when you booked, MedallionNet was $10/day for 1-device and $20/day for 4-devices. The upgrade differential for 16-night voyage was $160 USD ($80 USD with 50% discount). You must have booked with 1.35 exchange rate as $80 USD converts to $108 CAD. By the time you re-booked, the new pricing is $15/day for 1-device and $40/day for 4-devices. Yes, that is 100% increase, but the 4-device old price was an overly generous bargain one could argue. The differential is now $25/day, instead of the former $10/day, so that is a 250% increase. For 16-night voyage, the upgrade SHOULD be costing $400 USD (16 x $25). With 50% off, it SHOULD be $200 USD or, $270 CAD using the 1.35 conversion rate. If you did not get a discount, the upgrade cost should be $540 CAD. I am not sure where you are getting the $432 number (which is $320 USD or $20/day for 16 days). If that is supposed to be a discounted rate, then it equates to $640 USD or $40/day - which is the FULL price for 4-devices. It appears as though you are getting no value from Princess for your included 1-device plan and are being charged in full instead of the upgrade difference. You need to go back to Princess about this and get them to look into it and fix it. Are you on the PLUS Fare or STANDARD Fare plan? Even with STANDARD, the 4-device plan has only doubled in price - not 400%. Suggest you review your situation more closely.
  21. Looks like you are not aware of Crew Incentive increase from $14.50 to $16. So, your number is $44.00. Now, take out your MedallionNet cost - either $15/day or $7.50/day.
