This photo was from a trip with a girlfriend instead of Mr Bear. I found it a bit cramped with the beds apart. I’m sure it’s comfortable for some so maybe I’m just used to one big bed! If you look close at the photos, the couch is almost touching the bed. Just found it “crowded”. I survived but used to more space I guess.

Thanks for the photos-we are in a Neptune deck 7 on the Eurodam for our Caribbean cruise later this year. As much as I’d love an aft hubby just doesn’t do well with the motion of the ocean. I, on the other hand, love it.

Thank you-haven’t seen the grandkids in person since December when we were there so looking forward to it. (Thank heavens for FaceTime chats every day). I always LOVE your travel posts-lots of detail and photos-perfect. Plus of course your photos show our beautiful weather today.

You picked a beautiful day for the train ride and to leave the Vancouver port. It’s a fantastic clear day here in Vancouver-and you’ll see Grouse Mountain still with snow on it!

We did our renewal during the pandemic and it sure surprised me it came in regular mail-pleasantly surprised though when we both got ours.

I can’t remember how long ours took but they came in regular Canada Post mail to our house.

Wow….what an eye opener post. I’m glad to hear you’re back on the ship and not in pain. I applaud you both for what you’ve gone through as I don’t think I would do well under those circumstances. Great information and suggestions too. Thank you for sharing. All the best when you return home too-hope you can find some help or maybe a 2 week cruise until your cast is off?!

I guess the most I’d like it to work is for messenger to chat with our little grandkids. Or even be able to see photos or videos they post. We have the HIA so hope the wifi will work a little.

We love it when the ship is in port that long. Make sure you walk around in the evening-it’s very pretty with the lights. We were there one time a few weeks before Christmas and it was lovely. One of our favourite Caribbean ports. You are most welcome. Enjoy!

I don’t know if there are any tours in town as we’ve always seen them right at the dock as you get off the ship. Not sure how long you’re in port for but we try to do an excursion in the morning and walk around town after that.

The walk into town isn’t very far. It’s over the Queen Emma bridge that opens and you’re right there! I have an issue with walking any distance and I found it no problem.

We have been to Curacao a few times off a ship. One tour we did was Irie Tours which we had prebooked (independent). It’s been a few years but the 4 of us enjoyed it. Included was the National Park, “Fisherman’s Wharf” where you could swim with the turtles for a short time, and a stop for beach time at Playa Porto Mari beach. Another year we just walked off the ship and booked a 2 hour city tour with Ben’s tours which included a stop at the Curacao factory where we got to taste some. Other times we’ve been there we have just walked into town of booked snorkel excursions. I’m sure you’ll find something suitable for what you’re interested. Enjoy, we love Curacao!

Welcome home!! So good to hear you had a great time! Sucks about the internet. I wish actually they didn’t offer it in the Have it All-maybe too many on it 🤷‍♀️. We are a patient bunch and look forward to photos and anything else you have to offer from your cruise.

Wow-they are very, very lucky the ship didn’t leave. We’ve watched over our balcony (like your video) 2 passengers running to the ship as well and lucky they made it.

I agree. We always buy insurance but not from our TA.
