  1. Question for Jason What are the plans to continue the Revolutionize process on the Last 2 M class and remaining S class ships started before Covid?
  2. Questions for Jason Will Celebrity ever offer Coco Cay as a stop? Why not raise the fares a little instead of doing cuts in the dinning experience? Why does Celebrity no longer offer just a basic soda package? the zero package is way to expensive for cruisers or kids that just want soda
  3. We used them once in St Lucia. It was fine. I think they are used by many travel agents.
  4. At some point RCL Corp will need to chart a path as far as starting back the Major upgrades program for both Royal and Celebrity. I know they committed 5=years ago to keeping the 4 m class with upgrades but with the 4th E Class coming in service next year it would not shock me to see them decide not to upgrade the other 2 M class and instead work on the S class.
  5. I won’t disagree over the price issues but maybe you should shop your cruise a bit more to fit your budget. Look for a cheaper time of year or maybe drop down a level from Aqual?
  6. I applied for the card deal with the $ 300 CC. It is a credit card you can use it for anything. If you use it on Celebrity or Royal you more points. I just move my $300 to my upcoming cruise this week.
  7. I think Celebrity needs to build 2-3 smaller ships to replace the M class. There are some places the E class is too large like Tampa. A modern version on the M would be nice.
  8. Does Celebrity use Taino cruise port? Two ports is confusing to me.
  9. I understand your issue. You did not say but it sounds like you got the all in fare I know Celebrity has been giving a lot of cabin credit so you may have some cabin credit to use. That said you do not have to upgrade to the premium Bev package to get your energy drinks. Just pay the difference on a per drink basis. Much cheaper this way unless you plan to drink many. Our last cruise we had the classic but just paid the extra for Martinis at the Martini bar.
  10. Just my opinion but while we usually have at least 1 carry on bag flying down to cruises we usually just carry a back back or small carry bag boarding and check the rest with the porters. We just put valuables in the back pack and pool stuff if we are going to the pool. Why drag a suitcase around for 2 hours waiting for the cabin. Unlike a plan it is not like they are going to lose it
  11. Bushwhacker is fun out by the hot pool drink. Popular in St Thomas.
  12. I am hoping everyone disappointed in the food let’s Celebrity know in their post cruise reply. We are going on the Beyond in 3 weeks. I understand they have cost issues but believe they should just increase the cruise cost a bit to improve the food and menu.
  13. Looking to spend my $1000 AmEx charge. If I buy $1000 cabin credit for my March Cruise and only use about $600 can I get the balance back in cash or can I get creative and buy $400 in casino play and then cash most out later? A credit card credit would not be what I want.
  14. I have glanced through this thread and did not see this theory. It is possible that Grand Cayman has decided that the ship needs a separate license for each bar that operate while in port and they are expensive so Celebrity just buys one for the pool bar or the second possibility is they only will grant them a license for 1 bar. At any rate the cruise line makes big money off drinks so only having 1 open hurts the bottom line.
  15. My first impression of the New Menu is that I don’t like it or at least I think they should have kept the daily classic options of Salmon, Chicken or Steak. There is just some night I don’t like much on the entree list and that sucks. On the other hand my wife like the new menu. Our next cruise in March is on the Beyond but we are booked on the Harmony in Oct. Hoping they get enough complaints to adjust a bit. I really think instead of cutting costs in the food they should just raise prices $50 a person and work on the quality of the food. I am almost Diamond but will try NCL again if I do t like the menu. As long as this is a soapbox to complain I want to address the rip off kids sail free deal. For our Oct cruise we are in the window for kids sail free only they are really more than adults. The Balcony cabin for my daughter and husband was about $2000. If they add my granddaughter that is supposed to be free the price jumps $1100 because they charge much more for a cabin that sleeps 3. I ran the kids free deal on NCL and they charged only about $375 for port charges and taxes for kids. Had they had a Oct cruise in our Fall Break window we would be on NCL.
  16. Late day into the night stops at San Juan are not uncommon. They usually just squeeze it in instead of another full sea day. You have time to explore Old San Juan a bit.
  17. I know in advance they have the high priced zero alcohol package. Somewhere I read once on board they will sell just a soft drink package. is this accurate and if so what does it include?
  18. Looks like 3.5 hours beach time. Cutting it close getting back but it looks well planned. did you do this? another option is to try to find a few others on your ship and do a small charter. We did this. Found some others on the meet and mingle board.
  19. Also it was fantastic and worth the trip
  20. Do do a check on Charters. A few years ago the ship charter was only a short time so we looked for a charter to go to the Soggy Dollar. We looked at many options and tried to book on Aristocrat already listed. It seems like it was full but he gave us another boat to try. We ended up going with a few other passengers we found on the meet and mingle for our cruise. loved the trip and we were at got a few hours on the beach before the ship charter arrived. Try Aristocrat and see if they have a recommendation. Also do a search for Tortola half day charters. Seems like our second choice was a female captain with a boat for 6-8 people. The trip to White Beach was about 45 min but a smaller boat could do it in 30 min.
  21. Now that is info I am been looking for. Seems like the type of place we want. We may have a smaller group. Was there taxis available for the return trip?
  22. We have been to St Thomas many times. Looking to possibly go to water Island this trip. I know there is a small Ferry. Anybody been lately or have any current info..
  23. Red Hook is usually $30-45 min max. Havensight is the closer dock so closer to 30 min. You never know about traffic so allow more time each way especially on your return. 12 hours is a good long stop. The Ferry runs every hour each way. I think on the hour to St John and on the 30 back but you can look it up.
  24. Another option is check with your cell provider. Most have international plans where you can use your phone in port for free to $10 a day. Wont help you on sea days.
  25. We had planned an Oct cruise on the Harmony with by granddaughter (4) and daughters. And their husbands but right now I not happy that Royal advertisement says kids sail free but then charges $1000 more for the cabin. It looks like MSC charges just a small fare for port fees so I am interested. We have sailed on Royal 6 times and NCL twice. Just wondered about positives and negatives compared to what we know. We can get the drinks and Wi-Fi for less than the Royal Cruise.
