We arrived into the port of Tampa this past October...used one of the $10.00 pp shuttles and would have had no trouble making this flight time. We did self assist off our RCI ship. We were very sorry our flight wasn't until 2:00pm and had to spend this much time at TPA.
You would be better off bringing a Firestick. We bring ours and have been able to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime etc on all the 5 RCI ships we've sailed on just this year.
I'm sorry but I don't remember Los Angeles threatening that in July or in October when we sailed out of San Pedro. This threat for the end of the month is more likely to actually happen and has nothing to do with elections, it's based on data of cases escalating.
Try Cruise Control....(888) 416-8830...Corey the owner is just amazing providing superb, reliable transportation for whatever you need in Orlando to Port Canaveral.
Take an open air taxi from the Crown Bay port area to Havensight only if you can see there's a ship docked. If not don't waste your time. And if you do go to Havensight and want some great food walk along the waterfront to the "Smoking Rooster" and also try their Banana Pudding if they haven't sold out.
Walking around near Cabo Wabo & the Giggling Marlin there are a few outdoor dining spots. One we recently ate at was near a round outdoor bar...sorry I can't remember the exact name. Also one very popular spot for good food/drinks is along the pier area called Solomon's Landing.
I may be wrong but if you page all the way to the bottom on RCI's home page then under plan a cruise to transportation you should be able to navigate then to their air info booking. Put in your cruise info and "browse" option.
Once you get off the tender provided by your cruiseline just walk into town..very quick and easy to do.
Walking in this tourist area is very safe. Personally I would use cash....everywhere takes USD in the Mexican Riviera.
FYI...Cabo Wabo can be very crowded with tourist's...been there and done that many years ago as we have cruised to this port many times over the years and as recently as January & October. We'll be there again in January 2023. Lot's of better options there than Cabo Wabo but enjoy your first visit.
What the policy was in July will have no bearing on what's going to happen as early as the end of this month for Los Angeles. It looks like we're heading for a mask policy again with the way the numbers are heading.
We'll be in a Sky Suite in May on Eclipse and it's only our 2nd cruise with Celebrity. What should we expect as we're pretty low key cruisers and not very needy.
We've been on port stops at St Lucia many times and we've only needed to show our SeaPass to get off and back on. Nothing special about this port stop requirements when sailing from Florida or San Juan.
Agree completely that the ice show on Navigator was the best we've seen on any RCI ship to date. They should definitely have that particular one fleet wide. We'll be back on NOS in January and hoping it's still playing. RCI out did their selves with this one.
We were on the Serenade this past September (Alaska) in GS #1052 and had extended family staying in Oceanview Suite #1054 and then in October (Panama Canal) OS # 1058 and we had no noise issues coming from the Centrum at all on either of these cruises.
I personally wouldn't have any concerns with locations near the Centrum on any of the Radiance class ships. We've sailed this class of ship many times and have always enjoyed the midship locations.
