I am doing the same for August, although I have yet to purchase my tickets.

Would you mind posting your experience after your cruise in June?  Thanks in advance!

Edit -  I see @MeHeartCruising said it went smoothly - can you tell me details for dummies?  Like since you have a purchased ticket, I assume the area in Waterloo where you board wouldn't have a tap in entrance for payment then??

To be honest it wasn't easy purchasing the tickets on their website. But I am glad I purchased the tickets because less worrying for me anymore. I don't know if they have a tap in entrance for payment, maybe someone who lives there can answer that question. If there happens to be a railway strike in June, I will probably get a car service like Blackberry cars. I have Blackberry picking my husband and I after the cruise back to Heathrow.

  2. On our Seward to Vancouver cruise last September, the Concierge luncheon was indeed on Icy Strait Point day. We had to rush back from our shore excursion. We were not happy. And the lunch was not great at all. Very disappointed. Also our Concierge class canapés everyday were horrible, almost inedible. We wrote that on our surveys but I guess it still going on. 😕

  3. We were booked on the 16th of March also. Had a balcony cabin selected, my reservation was from a big box travel agent. I received no notice of overbooking. My friend had a reservation from Celebrity with a confirmed balcony cabin next to ours. My friend received an email and phone call from Celebrity that their cabin was overbooked. I never received anything from my big box travel agent. So I called today to my big box travel agency, she did not see any cancellation on my reservation, so I had her call Celebrity.  Celebrity said indeed my reservation was affected. What I don't understand is why Celebrity did not send anything to our big box travel agency. So I think more people will be cancelled and they do not know it as of yet. I cancelled and will be doing a land vacation in Japan instead. So sad Celebrity doesn't care what's happening to their customer loyalty. 😕

  4. If I have a set MDR time for early seating on Celebrity Beyond, how does it work for rotating among the four complimentary dining rooms? Do they just pick one to eat on a 11 night cruise or can I ask to be be rotated? Thank you in advance.

  5. Just off the Equinox on Thursday, January 12, 2023. We started with the all included  basic wifi. This is only good for checking emails or quick iMessages to people. No sending photos, etc. to your friends back home. On the last two sea days my husband and I upgraded to the premium wifi for $25 per person each day since we are elite. Wow...we could stream, FaceTime with our family back home, see YouTube videos, etc. What a difference it made!!!!

  6. We are going on the Celebrity Millenium in September. Our Pre-cruise Land Tour 8B starts in Fairbanks. The website says we are to provide a negative test prior to the land tour, but it does not have to be monitored. I am very confused. What did you provide to them? Thank you in advance.

  7. Yesterday I moved my Constellation ABC cruise from January 2021 to January 2022. My travel agency is a big box store. It took from 8 am to 1 pm to get the move done. 😬 The agent had to talk to Celebrity multiple times, including speaking to a Celebrity supervisor. I was able to keep the same cabin, same price, all my amenities that I received from booking the original cruise onboard this past January on the Celebrity Edge. The port and fees only went up less than 5 dollars. I even made and baked a peach cobbler while on hold! It all worked out OK! 🙂

  8. 1) I'm interested in getting this pocket-wifi to use on my ipad/iphone where I won't have internet during my 2 weeks in Japan. Has anyone used it?

Would you recommend it? Did you pre purchase it or can you purchase it when you arrive in Japan? Where?

I used the pocket wifi for a 10 day trip in Japan, reserved it before getting to Japan. Had it delivered to our first hotel. Was there at check-in and used it in all of our cities, including Tokyo, Nagoya, Toyota City, Hiroshima, Miyajima, Osaka, and Kyoto. It was awesome! The last day we returned it via the mailbox in a prepaid envelope that was provided by the company.

    2) Limo bus from Narita to Tokyo hotel---do you have to pre book it or can you buy your ticket when you arrive at Narita? Where's the list of hotels in Tokyo that this bus stops at?

You do not have to prebook, when arriving at Narita Airport, just walk up to their counter (orange signs), and book your trip from the airport to your hotel. Ours was to the Hilton Shinjuku in Tokyo. The buses are very clean and it was a smooth ride to the hotel. Excellent mode of transportation. Any other questions, just ask....
