We will no longer be cruising.

Both of us have serious medical problems that makes it impossible for us to travel.

We have many wonderful memories of people met, places visited, and goood rimes.

Also, there a couple people who we shared some great times.

We wish all of you the best for the future..

We had assi't room stewards a week ago!! We had a different (nice) guy who vacuumed and cleaned the bathroom. The room steward had other duties.

 

I am happy to "pay a bit more" to the hardworking staff. Sorry .55 cents annoys you lol. You seem to know how much the staff make but I am wondering how much you make? You don't actually mean that a 30% raise on a $500 salary means we should all stop tipping? As a Canadian, yes the rates have hit us hard but we don't take out on the crew.

Just got off Millennium, and no more assistant room stewards.

Totally agree with you about tipping. Our steward was great. Plus take into account all the crew we do not see.

Just got back from 12 day land cruise.

We had not been on Celebrity in a couple of years.

First of all, we were disappointed with Blu. As far as we were concerned the service was not up to par. Quite a few times we had to push the staff to deliver our food. Andy in relation to this the quality was fair at best. What was also disappointing was the menu had not changed. We thought after 2 years we would see some new offerings.

In terms of production shows: we had seen all 3 shows a couple of years ago. On top of that, it felt as the cast was making the motions. We felt no energy.

Savannah Jack performed twice and they were excellent.

Lastly, the buffet. Service was very slow. You could wait awhile to find a waiter. Again, in terms of the quality of the food. Fair at best.

Hopefully, things will improve.

Has Azamara made or plan to change upcoming cruises departing Caldera.

We are due to depart March 21.

I have heard there are many flight delays and cancellations due to the eruption.

Just came off Quest ( Croatia and Amalfi Coast).

Evening was in Taomirino. We did not attend.

This is a tender port, and friends told us it was difficult to board the tenders due to the swells in the bay. Then had to board buses to the hotel.

The food was fair at best I was told.

Most people we spoke to felt it was not a very good event.

After cancellng a Princess cruise and booking with Celebrity I too hit the Celebrity boards. YIKES! (so I thought). But now have no fears. I have asked many questions and always get an answer back with a smile and additional great advice. Princess, in my book, is a tought act to follow but my wife and I can't wait to sail with Celebrity. So, hang in there and enjoy your cruise!

I see you are sailing on Solstice in December.

We did that cruise last March and we had a great time. The ship and all the services were top notch.

Hopefully, your experience will mirror ours.

Last night, I called Choice around 7:30 p.m. With no waiting, their price was substantially lower than when I called the airline. This is the second time I have used them and have been pleased with the results.

I used to be able to access a summary page which would show cabin assignments, excursions booked, airfare, transfers etc...of course havent booked any excursions yet cause there is still NO info yet on the AZ mazing evening yet..of course they will want my final payment in about a month!

I called Azamara this morning with the same thing. Thet have deleted this page right now. According to the rep, they think it might come back in the near future.

Apparently, I was not the only one who called them on this. I felt it was important to have this page available plus the drop down menu button for managing my reservations.

Will see what happens.

Maybe Bill Lieber can help us.
