  1. Agreed, I have tried to indicate your stateroom on this external picture of Sun Princess. Your balcony is not overlooked.so don't see how it can lack privacy.
  2. It was certainly a curious design decision to have them side-by-side This is looking up at the Rollglider track from the Sanctuary. The running track is actually open so you get groups of runners passing close to the blue balcony glass anyway And this is looking down on the Sanctuary from the running track - not the Sun deck end. You can't see the pool or sun deck from the track level because of the white awning and the Rollglider should only have distant views. Not sure if it will protect from any screams though!
  3. It's the same information for Sun Princess cruises before the October changes, except there are separate entries for Horizons on 6 and 7.
  4. As us Brits say, not heard a sausage about Star Princess build or changes in design, not since the Sanctuary class and launch delay were announced.
  5. `1) You can pre-book parking for your cruise now via CPS - you normally drop off the car and your keys directly outside the terminal and they will park your car for you. Even if you return to a different terminal they will move the car to that terminal (or provide a coach drop-off) so you can pick it up easily. They are pricier than some of the other offerings but we have used them for years and they have been reliable. Go to https://www.cruiseparking.co.uk/, select to book in Southampton, select Princess and browse down the list of cruises. You don't need to know the terminal in advance in other words. 2) If Sky Princess is at full capacity and the weather isn't great then you do notice the crowds in the inside bars and piazza areas- not so easy to find seats.
  6. Yes, not seen any new information from those onboard - still a suggestion that it's awaiting certification once the ship gets to the US.
  7. Don't forget the Sea View Terrace as an outdoor space - we loved it!
  8. You can also book the 360 dining experience (only available on Enchanted and Discovery Princess).
  9. Not official yet but has been communicated to some passengers by crew.. Enough for cruisedeckplans to include this:
  10. Yes the notch is the location of the headboard, so bed closer to the balcony, facing aft Note this stateroom also has an inter-connecting door to 15610 so there might be noise issues.
  11. I think you mean the 'secret decks'? Great views but no seating when we were on there in April. Should be a link in my signature for some video footage of the secret decks - check from 1:35 onwards
  12. Yes, agreed on wheelhouse - they also have a couple of trolleys of board games out during the day
  13. Here you go: (Credit Tiffany RZ on FB)
  14. Note that I provided you a link to the photos in my reply to you in post #68
  15. cruisedoctor has posted some pictures on the views in this thread the Deck 8 Americana diner is on the same level as the Wake View Terrace at the back of the ship. It's just plain awkward to navigate to the Wake View Terrace - walking outside on the Prom deck and down the stairs, walking along a higher deck from corridors of staterooms and going down the scenic elevators or direct through the diner.
  16. It's all part of bigger set of changes which have been discussed elsewhere where the walk-in restaurant will move to the Deck 9 aft areas where Butchers Block and Catch are located. Summarised here:
  17. 1) Signature Dining Room for suites is currently Deck 7 Midship but there is talk of changes coming in around October with the Sanctuary Collection changes. It could be moving to Deck 8 Aft and becoming the Sanctuary Dining Room (with more passengers to cater for). 2) The Suite Lounge is open 24/7 with service available from sunrise to sunset. There is bar service. 3) Only the Sky Suite has side-by-side double vanity sinks: Penthouse (or Vista) and Owners (or Grand) Suites have single sinks in the bathroom and a sink in the separate toilet. Signature Suites have a mini-suite bathroom with one sink. Owners/Grand
  18. We've stayed in 7 Premium Suites on 4 different Royal Class ships (but only in Western Europe, along the US West Coast and around the Med) and never experienced wind issues. We did hear the anchor but only when walking around the room when leaving port - it's never woken us up and I am a really light sleeper. It's our cabin of choice - love the extra space in the bedroom! P.S. Avoid the Aloha deck ones - too much balcony overhang for us. Mind you we managed to get this awesome pic in the Norwegian Fjords at 4:30AM from that same balcony!
  19. The current Signature Dining Room doesn't appear to have luxurious views either so not sure this will be a big factor: And I'm sure they will come up with a way to make the awkward Deck 8 aft facing views more presentable e.g. The Reserve Collection Dining room has some fancy screens on it's windows.
  20. Yes, discussed earlier in the thread about the new pricing. Recent posts on another site mentioned the restaurant is deserted so they clearly aren't getting in the numbers.
  21. Some differences for you: The Majestic has an indoor pool with the Hollywood Pool whereas Enchanted has the outdoor Retreat Pool. The Enchanted has The Sanctuary whereas Majestic has the free to everyone Hollywood Conservatory which means you have great forward views with floor to ceiling windows. The Majestic has a Princess Live in the TV studio format with fixed arm seats while Enchanted has the open lounge version of Princess Live. Some differences in speciality restaurants and Lido food outlets but heard they will be aligning more in a future dry dock.
  22. This topic was discussed in this thread recently - not sure she is due for one as the most recent one was only 2 years ago
  23. Planks \and Steamers on Lido Deck 15 Aft at the back of the buffet. They are held alternate nights - reservations needed once on board Vines on Plaza Deck 5 Midships - might be offered anytime venue is open Menus in this post
  24. My starter is to look for recent videos and there is one on FB from 6/7/2024 which sweeps around the Arena and shows this view: Which places it roughly in the blue area below: Would be good to get verification from someone who has been in there!
  25. We watched the video and were disappointed that there wasn't anything apart from fancy food and lots of drinks i.e.nothing experiential like 360 and focussing on art. Looking at the dining menu and beverage menu, my other half would only be comfortable eating two out of the six courses (doesn't like fish or mushrooms) but would love the drinks. And I only like one cocktail but can do the food! So not for us.
