We always bring magnets to post reservations, programs, etc. and have used them on the Eurodam, Noordam, Amsterdam, Statendam and maybe the Ryndam.

We brought and used an organizer on a couple cruises and then the new airline baggage limits (and strict 50 lb maximum per bag) made every pound a priority. I haven't missed it at all.

Anybody have any ideas about Sprint's coverage at our ports? ISP, Juneau, and Ketchikan?
We've used Sprint in the major Alaska ports (no experience with ISP). It is definitely roaming, which is included in our plan. (LOVED speaking with my Aunt, who lives in Ketchikan, as we sailed past her house.)
As many have mentioned, it is really important to turn off cell phones shortly after leaving port. We've never had a problem, however, within a couple miles of land.
Question about a SOLD OUT excurstion.

On our last Carnival cruise there was a sold-out excursion we really wanted to do. I headed to the excursion desk first thing and was able to get four tickets. They mentioned they hold some slots open for the computer phobic (they didn't use that term).
