  1. Thank You ForSharonB!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

    You're welcome FlipFlop!!

By the way, my sister is currently sailing on THE FREEDOM.

Today she is in Antigua - visiting our other sister (she picked the sailing because she can spend the day visiting our sister -- added bonus!!)

    SHE'S HAVING A FABULOUS TIME!!!

Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to ask her.

    They are there until 5-6pm!

  2. My daughter and I will be cruising on Liberty soon. Do I have to purchase 2 FTTF tickets for our cabin, or can she just go along with me since she is a minor in same cabin? Thanks!

    FTTF fee is per cabin...

Doesn't matter how many are in the cabin (2,3 or 4) or the ages.

    Pretty good deal!

  3. Can anyone tell me where the Laundry Rooms are located on the Pride.

    Thanks.

    Claudia

    Hi Claudia -

I for sure know about the one on Deck 4 Aft (as it was right across from my Aft Wrap Suite).

But I was checking about others, and found this info:

    Pride Launderettes Locations:

    Riviera Deck 1 - midship / across from 1219

    Main Deck 4 - aft / across from 4230

    Upper Deck 5 - aft / across from 5270

    Empress Deck 6 - forward / across from 6102

    Verandah Deck 7 - midship / across from 7267

Hours posted on the door to the Laundry

    2 or 3 washers

    2 or 3 dryers

    1 iron and ironing board

Vending machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener

  4. Regardless of whether Carnival makes any warnings, we're being very cautious when we go to Nassau this summer. Water taxi straight to Atlantis and back. Done.

Does the water taxi go to the Atlantis? In the past, we've taken the water taxi ($3-4) and had a long walk (20+ min) to the Atlantis. But on a recent cruise we took a taxi, but I recall hearing a lady mention taking a water taxi "to the Atlantis". I assume she had had the long walk also. Do water taxis go straight to the Atlantis?

Btw she also mentioned she was able to use the Atlantis Beach at no cost? Could that be true? Thx.

  5. Anyone else experience something similar?

I sail TODAY and tried to pull up my booking as I normally do and something clearly was amiss!!!

We have 4 cabins and normally when I log on I see all 4 bookings. They were not there and it said my next sailing is in 360 DAYS!

    I KINDA PANICKED!!

But then I was able to pull them up individually by entering the booking #s, birthday, etc.

But I agree, something clearly is not right!

  6. WAIT! So are these the ONLY GAMES?

I'm interested in the Washington vs Atlanta game.

    Will it not be shown?

they use the Miami sat feed in the east and a different sat feed from the west. so that might explain why they are showing Miami in stead of Atlanta. I can never tell.

Wow! My son is a Patriots fan so he'll be glad, but me :(.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll find something on The Pride to do to keep me happy!!:D

  7. For those of you who need your football fix. The schedule can be different on the west coast because of another sat feed. Bon Voyage!

    Per John Heald's facebook page:

Here are the NFL games we will show this week in the sports bars and on some of the Dive In movie big screens

    THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12

8.25pm SAN DIEGO CHARGERS VS. DENVER BRONCOS

    SUNDAY, DECEMBER 15

1pm NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS VS. MIAMI DOLPHINS

4.25pm GREEN BAY PACKERS VS. DALLAS COWBOYS

    ...

8.15pm CINCINNATI BENGALS VS. PITTSBURGH STEELERS

    MONDAY, DECEMBER 16

8.25pm BALTIMORE RAVENS VS. DETROIT LIONS

WAIT! So are these the ONLY GAMES?

I'm interested in the Washington vs Atlanta game.

    Will it not be shown?

  8. I was on the Pride from last month. We had FTTF. We were supposed to get back at 9 and were about twenty minutes late. FTTF were told to wait in Beauties Lounge on Deck 2. We were the first to be called off after self debark was done. We didn't get off until 10:45! No snow that day and still not sure why it took so long to get off.

BTW- we did not board until amost 1 p.m. for our cruise because the cruise before us were late getting in. So the early boarding you get with FTTF was a waste of money. By the time we got on all rooms were ready!

I would not buy it again for the Pride since these cruises don't get in until 9 instead of 7 a.m. ( and it has been consistently late getting in recently.)

I bought FTTF for the Pride for next Sunday for my family's 4 CABINS...

We don't have flights to catch so there's no major debarkation hurry, and my cabin is actually a suite, which will give us priority boarding, and it seems I can also have my kids' cabin board with us. I'm wondering if I should CANCEL FTTF AND SAVE THE $200!!

I kind of wanted to surprise my family by zipping by the embarkation lines, but it doesn't seem worth it!!

    ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS!

  9. I'm on the same sailing and got the call too! They tried on Fri and I got an email, but couldn't reply in time. They called again earlier this week. We went from a balcony to a suite (first time!) for $300 with 3 people in the cabin. I'm excited, especially since I booked last minute and already got an amazing deal, but am even happier to think that maybe the ship won't be that full. My boarding passes and baggage tags reflect the upgrade, so it definitely wasn't a phony call. Have a great time in your upgraded rooms! See you on the boat~

    When UPSELL FAIRIES call:

    1) Do they leave voicemails?

    2) Do they send emails?

    3) How much time do you have to consider their offer?

    Thx

The $100 onboard credit is kind of nice.

But how did your rate from your Pride booking compare to the going rate for the Breeze? Did you luck out? Was there a nice savings?

We saved $190 per person in the cruise rate on the Breeze for an 8N Balcony, but now we have to pay for round-trip airfare to Miami instead of one-way from San Juan to Baltimore. Not sure how that will work out.

We had two cabins, and rebooked on the Pride same week out of Tampa. We saved $5 per person on the 8J balcony, and $50 pp on the 4B inside.

Thanks... I'm thinking about switching to The Breeze. Just trying to figure if there's and advantage to booking while I'm on The Pride in 2 weeks. I hope when I book onboard I'll still get the $100 OBC from the cancelation, as well as the OBC for booking onboard. Thanks!

  11. We leave Thursday on Fascination. We have 7 teens/older kids in our party. I am wondering how I will keep up with their room keys and sail cards. Does Camp Carnival give lanyards to them? Any ideas?

As others have said, we always get them from the casino also.

Have a great time. Btw, soon I'm also cruising with 7 teens/college kids too (14, 19x3, 20, 21, 22). Please let me know if you have any words of wisdom!!:-). Enjoy!!

  12. My booking on the Pride for the last cruise out of Baltimore on Nov 30, 2014 was cancelled last week. I was soooo disappointed. The cruise started in Baltimore (close to home) and ended in San Juan. I was planning to rent a car and spend an extra couple of days after the cruise exploring Puerto Rico....away from San Juan. That's not happening now.

As a replacement, I booked a cruise for Nov 2014 on the Breeze. They gave me the same rates I had on the Pride plus $100 obc.

We had a few days of rough seas but that does not bother our family at all but there were a lot of sick people!...

Its cold leaving Baltimore dress warm...but Monday it warmer and we got some sun on the top deck, tuesday we were in our bathing suits and laying out got lots of sun, PC was warm but rained a lil bit, we went to Cocoa Beach. .which was a waste the beach was really dirty! Both days in the Bahamas werr beautiful and Saturday is was pretty cold. The water temp in the Bahamas was very warm we snorkeled ... :)

Dolphins76 - Thanks for your posting.

About the rough seas.. I'm glad it didn't bother your family and generally it doesn't bother me either.

But where was your cabin? I'm sailing in 3 weeks with an AFT wrap + 3 adjoining balconies with 10 family members including 5 newbies. I'm concerned about it being really rough especially with our aft cabins. Hoping for a nice sailing for our first timers!!

Anyone know if we/they should take anything "preventively" before we leave? THX

    Thanks!

  14. So beside myself... just got cancellation notices for my 2014 cruise on the Pride. I didn't cancel. On the phone with Carnival trying to figure out what happened...

I still have not received a cancellation email for my 11/30/14 Pride Booking!!

I just happen to go to fare viewer and then realized my cruise was gone. Then today I got a FTTF cancelation email... But no official cruise cancelation email!

Anybody rebook and get a great/better deal?

  15. We were on the Pride 2 weeks ago in an aft suite. As others of said, you get nothing more then quicker boarding. The suite was 2 rooms with the first room being tiny and narrow. We never used it. The bedroom was small too. After staying in it for a week, we decided it wasn't worth getting a suite on CCL. There was no real benefits as other cruiselines give.

What cabin did you have? Sounds like my aft cabin #4237 that I'm really looking forward on our Dec 15 sailing!!

I'm okay with not a lot more space, but I'm looking forward to the wrap-around view. (We also have 3 adjoining aft balconies!)

Question: Does the aft wrap suite have 1 or 2 balcony doors?
