Bringing Medications and Vitamins on a Cruise
briar14 replied to pappy1022's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
I take several medications and supplements, put each day’s dose in small plastic bags. Our hospital system prints out a list of my medications and supplements with prescribing information and diagnosis, which I take with me. We travel extensively and have not had any issues. -
The regular suites on Navigator are larger than those on Mariner and Voyager, which was helpful when I was quarantined with Covid last summer. This was our first cruise on Navigator after many cruises on the other Regent ships. Very well maintained, excellent service by a warm, wonderful staff and crew. Just make sure you don’t reserve an aft suite. We would not hesitate to choose Navigator again.

The New Years’ celebrations on Splendor look really splendiforous. How we wish we would have had similar celebrations on Mariner’s Panama Canal cruise last year.

Virgin Atlantic - What do you think?

Just transited through HR from Cape Town to Charlotte. Terminal 5 to T3. It was very early in the morning so no crowds or lines. We were pleasantly surprised by the purple directional signs. Very clear. Still, it took us an hour, including security. Other times of day would take longer. All liquids in carryons need to be placed in a plastic bag, which are available near security. -
Voyager docked at the Cape Town Cruise Terminal at the end of the Lisbon-Cape Town cruise. As previously stated, the Table Bay Hotel is within walking distance, but it’s complicated. Have a wonderful trip!

Last summer Regent booked us on a nonstop Delta flight, Copenhagen to Atlanta. Regent has frequently booked us on American nonstops, when available, from Charlotte. I think there’s a good chance, if a nonstop exists from Dallas to Copenhagen, you could request from Regent. Probably would have to pay deviation.

We leave Thursday also. Charlotte-Munich-Lisbon. See you onboard. Safe traveling to everyone. Jan & Dave

Mr. Fudge, I have enjoyed your reports very much! We will be boarding Voyager November 12. Hopefully, the same wonderful crew will still be onboard. Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience.

Briar14 here, yes, I empathize greatly! Happened to us this summer on Navigator where Gilly, I and our husbands had great plans for a wonderful cruise. We also received excellent medical care. We were able to enjoy the last 10 days with Gilly and her Hero. I sincerely wish both of you well. Your trip reports and pictures are wonderful.

We have sailed with this TA group several times and are about to do so again. I agree with mrlevin and Rachel that most of the group will do their own thing once onboard. The last time we were with the group one party was held mid morning in the Stars Lounge. Not a busy venue at that time of day. However, if we found out an incentive group was going to be onboard, we would look for another option.

We received our documents on October 15. The one time we had a GTY suite we were notified a couple of days before sailing. Looking forward to meeting you onboard!

Good to be “home” isn’t it? Will the “A Team” still be on for the November 12, Lisbon-Cape Town trip? I hope so! -
We were on your cruise for one segment (Copenhagen-Amsterdam) and had a great time even after quarantining for Covid. Our 2021-22 holiday cruise on Mariner caused us to question the Regent experience, but Navigator allayed that concern. We have three more cruises reserved. Next one is Lisbon-Cape Town in November.

Same experience on Navigator, July/August. Charge for Paxlovid only medical fee. Husband and I received excellent care.

We departed the Navigator on August 12 and did not experience any lapse in service. For the 20 days we were onboard, service, staff, and crew were the best we have had on 16 Regent cruises. I hope it improves for you. -
Regent dropping Covid vaccination requirements

Same thing happened to us on our recent Navigator cruise. Self tested, reported positive results, quarantined. Regent took great care of us. Enjoyed the remainder of the cruise. -
Our comparison of Seabourn to Regent

We just experienced this on Navigator. After about 8 days both of us are negative and together in our suite. Regent provided good care and clear communication concerning their Covid protocols. -
B2B now requires Covid testing. What happens if??

I am on Navigator now and began taking Paxlovid last night. -
Navigator, Copenhagen to Amsterdam dep July 22
briar14 replied to Gilly's topic in Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Totally agree! Even though we haven’t met many of them since either my husband or I have been in quarantine since Day 2. Regent is taking good care of us but we really really would like to enjoy our planned cruise not the quarantine cruise. A few more days to go, we hope. -
On Navigator. He was at dinner tonight.
