  1. Very glad this is now available, always had trouble printing cruise docs from my iPad
  2. We are actually on the transatlantic leaving Lauderdale April 19. We may consider taking the train to Rotterdam at the end of the cruise. Hotels seem cheaper and can do some touring from there instead.
  3. My d/w and I will be finishing a transatlantic and Norway fiord cruise aboard the Niew Statendam in Early May 2020 and am having a hard time with post cruise hotel in Amsterdam. Will probably stay in the city 3 days or so. Can anyone recommend a hotel central location that doesn’t break the bank?
  4. I agree leave Tamarind alone, as I mentioned in another thread, reconsider tapas/gastropub that was previously there in the evenings. Try again to make that work.
  5. We to like this venue very much. On our cruise on Koningsdam that leaves this Sunday we have booked this spot 4 out of 10 nights
  6. Last spring on our Koningsdam transatlantic it was a Tapas bar with small and larger plates offered in the evening. They charged 15 dollars p/p. It was, in my opinion a very good value. We also had the chef master dinner there and that was not good to noisy and rather uncomfortable They seem to be having trouble monetizing this piece of prime real estate Fifty p/p per day seems like a lot of money, and I think we should stay tuned for what they might come up with next. For us the tapas concept was good and we enjoyed going there a number of times.
  7. On our transatlantic last spring we received an email, a week our so out from departing offering Easter brunch in the Pinnacle. Can’t remember the exact price, but I do remember it was an additional 10 bucks ea for unlimited mimosas. This was on the Koningsdam, we attended and it was very good.
  8. I also like the lighting to be dimmed somewhat during Dinner, would worry a bit if it was to dim in the MDR though. The way the dining room attendants move around during peak times it could be problematic.
  9. We’re on Koningsdam in February, looking forward to this new venue. If the musicians are as talented as the B.B. King crew it should be great.
  10. No more happy hour at that venue
  11. We just came off the Koningsdam a few days ago after completing a 24 day cruise on her. While we were aboard they had just changed the evening program. There no longer is a happy hour, but the menu remains the same but was priced at 15 dollars per person, and you could order as much as you wanted off the menu. We found it very enjoyable and a very good value.
