Sailing on the Regal soon and wondering what options, if any, are available for cold drinks using the coffee card? Would like something like a frappuccino or ice cappuccino ( for you Canadian Tim Horton's fans ). Thanks :)

there's one for the Caribbean Princess for sale on ebay.

Thanks for posting! I'll be following along...we're on the Regal in January, can't wait!
Have a great cruise!

It's not my next cruise, but in a year from now I am bringing my mom on her first ever cruise, her first ever real trip. She has been by my side through multiple brain surgeries and radiation, multiple hospital stays ( even flew to Europe when I was there for 3 months ), she is the very best mom ever and I can't wait to make happy memories on a cruise of a lifetime.

I'm in Ontario and the weather has been all over the place the last few days...we had high winds ( high enough for them to issue warnings ), thunder storms and summer temperatures in the span of 48 hours...it's moving east...

You can always try the package for a couple of days and then cancel if you don't want it anymore. They would refund the difference.

We always book with Calabaza in Barbados. Great crew, greats food and drinks, and most of all, great experience! No more than 12 people on the catamaran. Snorkel over a shipwreck and also with turtles. Gina is a great hostess.

Thank you! And Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians! :)

We've cruised Royal, Princess and Celebrity from San Juan. All have had only 1 sea day.

I think the majority of companies you'd be booking with will take credit cards. We always bring some cash for smaller purchases but overall charge the majority of expenses. Have a great cruise!

I called about the same thing and was told it depends on several factors ( which cruiseline, destination, etc )
Here's a further explanation:

lol that was my question, too!

Is there seating in the waiting area? We've never cruised from Fort Lauderdale, thanks for the info. :)

Hi 4spring:)
I only use a weekly pill organizer for vitamins & always bring my meds, narcotics & injectable in their original script bottle/container. However, you can request from your pharmacy, a duplicate print out of your script labels & then place your meds in any container or organizer as you wish. My wife & I have been cruising over 3 decades now, never had an issue, but that doesn't mean an issue won't arise one day, so I approach my medications & traveling with a "When in doubt, don't" attitude..
Have a terrific voyage!!
(( PS: ))
I like to use original script labels because they describe the med, any numbers on med, and color of pills.
:)
I do the same as you...unfortunately almost half my carry on is meds ( some have to be in a cooler bag ) but I feel safest doing it that way. I have been questioned more than once about them by TSA...you just never know.

I don't understand the replies...if someone asks for info about printed brochures, why all the 'why would you' comments? I love printed brochures, too! I ordered one online at least 3 months ago and never received it but got one from a local travel agent.

We were on the Jewel for Canadian Thanksgiving and they served turkey. We also got an invitation on the day of ( complete with maple leaf on it ) to come down to a lounge for a piece of cake and champagne :) Nice touch.

Just the fact that I can do it. Not everyone is lucky enough to be able to travel. No matter what happens ( if things don't go exactly as planned ) I never take it for granted that I get to do it :)

Good luck!
I've heard about this pendant before but have never seen it. Does anyone have a picture of it? Thanks :)

I have been watching all the videos, I can't wait for the buffet.
Me, too!

I love this thread.... ;):D
Me, too!
On our last cruise, I had a few problems ( I am on steroids and hormones / brain tumour ) and our cabin attendant noticed I was swelled up. Without saying a word she went got me 2 pairs of the slippers they give to suite passengers because my shoes were too tight. So yeah I walked around the ship in my cushy slippers! She also asked everyday how I was and brought me whatever I needed, extra blankets, etc...

Sorry, as far as I know there is no afternoon tea offered. :(

Welcome to cruise critic! I am familiar with your issues ( I have the same ).
In Dominica we did river tubing. The transportation is in an air conditioned bus, the walk into the river is pretty easy as is the few stairs to get out. The tubing itself is super easy with helpers all along the way and the water is only about waist deep. After the tubing is done, there's a small snack and a drink for the way back. Excellent day, we had a blast!

It seems such a long time ago that my family and I booked our December Regal cruise. Now, it's less than 4 months away and we have paid in full. I love getting into the personalizer and seeing a zero balance. Can't wait for those balconies😊😊😊

Have a great cruise!

OMG laughed out loud...you take today's internet prize!
AOTS at San Juan

We have sailed from San Juan several times...one cashier told us to just bring everything with us ( we don't drink, the bottles we bought were gifts ), while another time they wrapped the bottles up and shipped them to our ship themselves. Last time the store shelves were pretty empty.
