I had the same experience in May after b2b cruises. The email which I sent was responded to this week after 4 months had passed. May be on the way to resolution. Agree that that experience is just not right.

Something I haven't seen mentioned is that HAL's wine lists and package lists may bear no resemblance to what is actually available on board. They have "substitute" wines which may or may not please your palate.

I have never seen NA wine on any menu. The only NA beer on the menu is Heineken NA.

In May on Nieuw Statendam at least 50% of the base spirits menu and lots of the described wines by the glass were gone. The bartenders hustled to get permission to substitute. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. For one, the Buffalo Trace was gone early on the cruise. My DW red wine was gone in the first week. Their substitutes were not comparable.

Agree with CruiserBruce. We were on Statendam also and the wait staff took drink orders with your room card. They had set up areas near their stations were they could pick up drinks. Enjoyed the HIA package.
