  1. Royal keeps trolling me. Sailing on Sunday, waiting to hear on this GS RoyalUp bid I placed and I keep getting random Royal emails like crown and anchor newsletter, how much OBC we have, to confirm arrival time. Basically I get excited when I see it's a royal email, but it's never the one I want, lol. Side note: Historically, do they notify you if your offer was declined / not accepted? Or does it just disappear once the cruise is gone?
  2. So, we're 7 days out from sailing. The sailing is gone from the site which means I should assume that the ship is 100% booked, right? My GTY Suite Cabin was officially assigned a week or so ago as a Junior Suite. Before it was assigned I did a RoyalUp for Grand Suite 1BR. I was thinking about upping my bid, but this seems like I'm just wasting my time. Thoughts?
  3. Thanks. Wouldn't it be weird for a sailing to sell out but GTY cabins remain unassigned?
  4. Hi there. We are sailing on Oasis of the Seas October 8th NYC round trip Bahamas. I've been checking the prices every few days for a potential cabin change. Today when I went to look, the sailing was gone. On a side note, We're 18 days out from sailing, my GTY cabin has not been assigned, and my RoyalUp bid has not been accepted or declined.
  5. Anyone here on the Oasis of the Seas NYC to Bahamas on 10/8/2023? Patiently waiting royal to approve or decline my bid to upgrade from a Suite GTY to GS (1br). Wanted to see if anyone else on that sailing have heard anything.
  6. Hi Gang, I have a question. Our cruise is something like 43 days out. Oasis of the seas. We booked a GTY suite last year for this sailing. So my set sail pass, says the following: Deck - 12 Stateroom - GTY Muster - EO3 At the very top of the sail pass directly under my name is says "Sea Class". On the bottom of the sail pass there is a barcode. Well I don't have an iPhone. I have Android. I scanned the barcode with a scanner app on my tablet and there the room assignment was, last 5 digits. So essentially I know my GTY is gonna be this Junior suite, right? Has anyone ever experienced something like this and ended up with a different cabin assignment? Also, I think I read this in a search, but info might have changed. Are you allowed to switch your cabin once your number has been shared officially? thanks!
  7. Not yet, I do plan to use the RCI one, just haven't found the right sailing. I'm not familiar with any casino specific travel agencies
  8. I saw an advertisement that Carnival(?) had a program (Fun Match, I think?) where you could provide your players club card from a land based casino and they could use that data to give you an offer to sail with them from their Casino department. Everything from perks, upgrade offers and comped cruises. Pretty nifty way to introduce more people to cruising who will likely spend a lot of time gambling. That made me think. Do any cruise lines offer to match competitor cruise offers? For example, RCI keeps sending me complimentary inside stateroom for two, none of the dates have lined up perfectly for me, so I haven't booked yet, but was wondering is someone like NCL might match this offer? Figure it can't hurt to ask :)
