  1. Would your schedule allow you to do both? We hemmed and hawed between the same two itineraries (but for July 2020). And decided to do both with 3 days on land in between the two sailings. If you can't, I'd go with the itinerary that interests you the most and not let the "allure" of the bigger ships influence your decision. My experience with Europe cruises is that because they're port-intensive, free time is spent sleeping.
  2. Johnny Rockets is also my favorite breakfast venue. Everything is served piping hot and is made to order right there on the premises - and not from the galley. Get there early though as it fills up fast.
  3. 11 days is correct. Received the notification email on 13 February, 2019 at 8:10 am ET.
  4. This was the letter received by guests who were booked on the first post-dry dock sailing on Navigator that was cancelled.
  5. Manhattans. A $20 bill to the server on Day 1 may yield you bourbons other than Jack Daniels.
  6. Salad bar at the Park Cafe. Tell your MDR server, "I'll be looking for the healthiest options all week. So please do advise. And no desserts all week. And please don't ask or offer." They'll totally understand and remember. Willpower is also key.
  7. NYE on Jewel out of San Juan this past December was, hands down, our most memorable cruise. Everyone dressed up and was in a joyous, festive mood. We also met some of the most charming people. No need to pay extra for parties or reserved tables. Be forewarned though, the Centrum just before midnight will be jammed. We're doing Xmas this year on Liberty and hoping for a comparable experience!
  8. I can confirm DEAL sometimes works with the C&A balcony discount. In fact, I've gotten into the habit of entering in the DEAL promo code every time I attempt to do pricing even if it isn't advertised.
  9. 7338 being right on the outer edge of the hump is one of the best cabins on the ship.
  10. These were the (limited) choices in the casino bar on Allure a couple of weeks ago. Alok the bartender can be seen as well. 🙂
  11. Opt for the balcony if your funds permit. And skip the drink package. Drink packages, imo, are only worth purchasing on itineraries that aren't port-intensive.
