  1. The carpaccio is off the menu at OO. Didn’t last very long (like 4-5 days). Current menu attached. Rob F2E79392-8472-44D3-9A58-9D5235CD6FA4.pdf
  2. Dwight, even on the last cruise with Mark Farris in attendance, the crowd was very sparse until about 9:15p. His pre-dinner 6:30-7:15p set was also a 50/50 guess on attendance. Rob
  3. On the contrary. You must be there on the “early shift”. It has been quite lively after 11p to closing. And well attended during the pre-dinner 6-7:15p set. Parallel universes. lol. Rob
  4. Today’s menus and Reflections. We were supposed to be in Grand Cayman today, but the medical emergency diversion caused the port stop to be canceled. So it’s a sea day and the activities have been adjusted accordingly. Rob CAEC30FB-4C05-4DC6-AB1D-3B71B7BEFA1A.pdf 03D55D09-364A-42C0-90B5-365C35CF70B3.pdf 3D071DD4-0658-4970-8693-B7287F0B198B.pdf
  5. The ship stopped about 6-8 miles or so offshore Key West. A US Coast Guard cutter tied up next to the ship and the patient was transferred to the cutter. We’re back on our way to Cartagena now. The captain made a PA announcement that the crew member was transferred to a hospital and is stabilized. Stuff happens. Rob
  6. Captain just announced a medical emergency for a crew member. We are now diverting to Key West. Due to the diversion, our call to Grand Cayman tomorrow has been canceled. Key West arrival in about 4 hours. Rob
  7. Reflections and menus attached. Great day. Sooooo many Crystal friends, sailors and WC’s onboard. The amount of provisions loaded today in Miami was impressive. Truck after truck after truck of produce, liquor, parts and pieces. Rob 1A50CF2A-7D2E-491B-A215-23156134BAED.pdf F8BCDCA3-4DD8-42B6-BD7D-4B1F6AECDC0B.pdf 404C5FB2-9397-4472-B5AD-B82DBC7EA43F.pdf
  8. We’re waiting for the ship to clear. Then we can return onboard. Here’s the waiting room on Pier E for those boarding today. Rob
  9. As promised, we’re still here. Todays menus and Reflections attached. The balconies are being cleaned this morning. Rob F628CB26-AF27-4FAF-9FD6-3448587F35A5.pdf 456F84CE-9759-476F-8245-65D80380F192.pdf 233754AD-92C1-44AC-B8DF-B84BAA10730C.pdf
  10. Tomorrow’s Reflections for those leaving in Miami. I’ll start a new thread for our continuing voyage to San Diego. Stay tuned. Did our farewells to Mark Farris and the great entertainers, lecturers and staff that are leaving the ship in Miami. The 2024 World Cruise starts tomorrow! 11. Cruising along at 15 knots on a flat flat sea. Nice way to spend the afternoon. Rob
  12. As G noted, Press Reader is loaded on the in room tablet. The app can also be loaded onto your personal device(s), but the content is only viewable onboard through the ship’s intranet. I could not download the link here, but I just took a screenshot of the first page of the News tab. There are many publications available. Rob
  13. Current guidance onboard states our arrival at Terminal E tomorrow. But it’s Miami and subject to change. Rob
  14. Today’s menus and Reflections. 90EB5394-2F29-4E92-BC16-E4A185818AFA.pdf 7E004A84-74A9-464B-940D-4A41600A4D5B.pdf F7D5070D-F654-4971-B5F3-F80A31B16C84.pdf
  15. The party’s not over just yet. Caviar, oysters Rockefeller, beef Wellington, king crab on offer in Waterside tonight. And we gain back an hour on the clock tonight. We’re plodding along at about 15 knots in a perfectly flat sea. We’re staying onboard the next cruise through the Canal to San Diego. So no luggage tags for us just yet. Once we get to Miami, I’ll start a new thread for the continuing adventure. Thank you G for starting this thread and kindly allowing me to augment (and post menus and Reflections.) Rob

  18. I also had the osso bucco tonite. And the answer to your question is yes. It was delicious. Rob
  19. Dwight, we have an ever multiplying assortment of gin samplers. Plus 1 liter bottles of Knob Creek and Grey Goose. And white wine. And red wine. And a fridge full of enough mixers, waters and soft drinks to open our own 7-Eleven! Rob
  20. Like the gin collection, the afternoon snack tray keeps multiplying.
  21. Osteria menu changed today. We were there last night. This was not last nights menu. Several new items added. 4BF2E711-96C9-4467-B7D4-052874536786.pdf
