  1. The Spa Cafe was open on embarkation day on Equinox last week.
  2. Just back from b2b on Equinox arriving home Oct. 17. No masks for the 100% vax adults. Crew is masked. Great cruises. Crew are so happy to be back at work and can't do enough for you. Lovely food everywhere. Oceanview Cafe great, not crowded at any time that I was there, and crew serving did not seem to slow anything down. Actually, you pick up your own plate and flatware, just as before. Just hold out your plate for what you want. Or bowl as it may be. Ice cream was great. Luminae was outstanding. Since suites were sold out, there was a bit of crowding in the retreat lounge at times, but Jonathon and Yulia,, concierges there, were so helpful and pleasant. We began going up to Sky L:ounge for before dinner drink for the second cruise. That was never crowded or noisy, Again , service was outstanding. Best check in and departure ever. We did not care that most islands required X excursions. I don't believe the ABC.s did, but they did require masks to be worn everywhere. We did not get off the ship at all. There was the normal entertainment options as well as Beyond the Podium presentations. Lots of games, etc. with the cruise director's staff. Our best cruise so far after cruising for 20 years!
  3. It seems I saw sun screen on Equinox last week. Have no idea about aloe vera, but that would probably be in the make up sales area if available.
  4. You can get a massage on Celebrity after sail away first night also. You should be able to book it in your reservation on line.
  5. On Equinox Sept. 26 and Oct. 8. Two shows every night save embarkation day, with just one at 9. Music as usual all over the ship. My favorite entertainment is the "Beyond the Podium" presentations. Several of those each cruise. As well as game show type entertainment every evening after the first show. Dance band late at Sky Lounge each evening and Silent Disco and Fulll Moon party at 10 PM a couple of nights.
  6. On the 9-26 Equinox there were 1367 pax. No covid cases on that cruise. I don't believe there will be full capacity even by January. But I hope so for all those employees affected.
  7. We did not get a survey for either of the 2 cruises we just completed. Can anyone please post either the CC or One Touch e-mail address, so I may report that we need to get the survey, please?
  8. All interesting information. We just did the 12/9 night . Fabulous cruises!!
  9. Why is Equinox currently on a 3 night cruise? No one we asked on last week's 9 night had a clue why suddenly Equinox is on a 3 night cruise? Are they trying to attract a booze cruise crowd? I surely hope not. The whole ambiance of that ship will be changed for the worse.
  10. Same answer re: Luminae. If you are on an S class ship, you may order from the Luminae OR Main dining Room menu.
  11. That concierge lunch was a very limited menu. You can get a better selection from the regular menu or in the Ocean Vew Cafe. I wouldn't bother with it on any day except for embarkation to avoid the masses at Ocean View. Moving it to any other day is senseless.
  12. Your assigned dining room is Blu. If you wish to eat in the main dining room, speak with the maitre d' in Blu and he will arrange it. You can't just walk in to the main dining room as you have no assignment there.
  13. The Inn at the Waterpark allows cruise parking at no charge if you stay there one night before your cruise. There is some covered parking that we have always been able to get. The hotel offers shuttles to the port or they can call you a taxi. It is about a $20 taxi fare for 2 from the hotel to the port. Many other hotels also allow free cruise parking, like Guido's Seaside Inn or Moody Gardens Hotel. But neither have covered parking.
  14. I suggest you go to the Celebrity web site and open "Healthy at Sea" link.
  15. FastTestNow.com in Ft. Lauderdale may be available,
  16. Isn't she just "hanging around" in the Caribbean now?
  17. Been so long since I've flown, I can't remember. Can boarding passes be printed out for you when you check in your luggage, please?
  18. If you use the points for OBC, that is refundable. I used to do that a lot, making the card like a cash back card. Points can be used to pay down your balance or for gifts or services prior to your cruise.
  19. Pretty much all basic cocktails will be covered by the $9 limit. But they will be made with "well" liquor, not higher quality. If you drink mixed drinks, probably the classic package is good for you. If you like to drink straight liquor or just with soda or water, you may want to upgrade. Also if you are a wine drinker there are better wines on the premium package. I suggest you wait until on board, try the drinks available to you in the classic package that you now have, and if you think you need to upgrade to premium, do so on board. The cost will be prorated depending on number of days left of your cruises after the upgrade.
  20. Can someone who has recently flown Delta Business or First Class tell me if they are serving alcohol, please?
  21. Jim, I know you don't go to Luminae for breakfast much, but can you find out if a waiter still comes around with a tray of pastries during breakfast?
  22. No buffet. Extensive menu items.
  23. Just noticed this wording in my updated Celebrity notification about requirements for our cruise Sept. 26. Does this mean the test must be made under the name on your passport, using middle name, as well as first and last? Or does it mean the name on the test results must be in the same name as our vaccination cards? These do not show our middle names, just initials. Eeek! Hope someone here can give me the answer. Have to test this coming Friday.
