  1. What we do is put our credit card on the medallion app for our and our daughter's cabin. This works but then everything is on our card which may not be what you wish to do.
  2. I use a wheelchair and do feel included when cruising. What ship? What itinerary? Tender ports?
  3. The only thing you can use on board credits for BEFORE you cruise is shore excursions. We did that on our partial Panama Canal cruise, Dec 18-28, 2022. We had only one problem, a hop-on hop-off excursion that was advertised as handicapped accessible but definitely was NOT. No charges were made to our credit card.
  4. The problem with both of those tours is getting off the island of Cozumel. You have to take a ferry to reach the mainland. From there, after a walk to the pick-up point, we used a large bus that stored the scooter (travelscoot) in the hold. Upon reaching Tulum it is a long walk/roll to the site from where you are dropped off. I enjoyed the tour but it was a stretch for my abilities at the time. I would not attempt it now as my condition has progressed and I use an electric wheelchair (fold and go).
  5. June - Sky, roundtrip Southampton to Norway and Iceland December - Caribbean, partial Panama Canal
  6. Arriving and being able to get off the ship are two different things. In my experience the problem is part the lack of customs and port personnel and the need for the crew to set up the ramps etc. I would take a later flight. I would not expect to get off much earlier that about 7:30 AM.
  7. I've used a scooter in the past and use a fold and go electric wheelchair now. I haven't ever travelled more than four miles in a day. When the battery gets down to half I would turn around. Perhaps you could order the smaller battery for travel and keep the larger one for use in your home area?
  8. We had reserved the 2021 world cruise - cancelled by Princess of course - At the time of booking we were offered a luggage service to take our bags to the ship and home at the end of the cruise. Other years I had noticed that it included round trip air. I wish we could have gone.
  9. yes, and you can check the schedule as well,
  10. You can order them either on the medallion app or their website. The medallions arrive about two weeks before the cruise. I got a notice of shipping on Monday with a tracking number. Our cruise is Dec. 18. I had ordered shortly after booking.
  11. You need to manage your flights on the Princess site, not on the phone. EZ air is a consolidator. Just because seats show as available on the airline site does not mean they have been released to EZ air. I have had luck and no luck on changing flights.
  12. Are the prices listed above per person or per couple per night?
  13. This is only my opinion so take it for what it is worth. When we sailed around south america the internet degraded seriously once we passed the area near the Amazon and did not return to half decent service until we reached the west coast of Costa Rica or so. I don't think you will have a lot of success with Zoom classes.
  14. I have never laughed so hard. One contestant used his wife's bra and underpants to cradle the egg. The egg did not break but her scream was so loud. He may still be in the dog house.
  15. We were on Sky Princess for 2 weeks in June/July this year and felt the bed was fine. We both said we slept well. I like a firm mattress but I imagine that might not be the preferred mattress if you like a softer one.
  16. Who booked the cruise? Direct with Princess, through a TA or CVP? Do you have your booking number? If you have the booking number go onto the Princess website and sign in using your name, birthdate, and booking number. This should tell you the type of fare that was booked for you. Perhaps the person treating you to the cruise also paid for the plus package at the time of booking. On a separate topic have you ordered your medallion?
  17. We trade the mini bar for ginger ale and orange soda.
  18. No one ever mentions the 2nd Love Boat series with Robert Urich as the captain. I liked that show as well, not the latest.
  19. It depends upon the appliance you want to use. If you have a dual voltage appliance you only need an adapter. If single voltage, you need both an adapter and a converter.
  20. I used a travel scoot scooter for many years. It was collapsible and light weight. However, once stepping over the middle of the scooter became increasing difficult I knew I had to have a different device. I still wanted it to be collapsible and light weight with batteries that were OK for air travel. I am very happy with my fold-and-go wheelchair. There are others on the market but this one has done very well by me.
  21. Be sure to check cruises from Australia as well. We did 50 days from Sydney to San Francisco by way of China and Alaska. It was part of a 75 day "Circle the Pacific" cruise, where we did the first couple of segments. We enjoyed Borneo very much. Also we have been to Patmos as well as Israel and Egypt on a Princess cruise but you have to look hard for those as they don't schedule them every year. We also did a 49 day FLL to LAX by going around South America. We loved that one as well. You might enjoy a world cruise.
  22. Specifically, you will go to a designated area (usually not the same area as those with "loyalty status" nor those with Princess excursions). When you get there you will be given an identifier (number, animal, color, etc.). When your identifier is called you will follow an escort to the water shuttle boarding area. It has been years - late 1990's at least - since we were in a scrum to get off at a port. You will wait as the shuttle is slowly filled.
