Good Morning from a still dark and windy day at the beach Most of the storm went by us. We had very strong winds and rain. Even though the storm is in the Gulf, the ocean is churning. We lost power for awhile but are back on. Don’t know yet if there is any damage but it would be minimal. Very strong prayers for those that were hit hard and hopefully with the sunrise, things will be better. @Cruising-along a very Happy anniversary to you both!

Good Afternoon from a cloudy day at the beach Not really sure what this crazy storm is going to do. We expect tropical storm winds and rain. We just moved all the patio furniture plus the neighbors. Even though I live on the ocean, I am not in a flood area. And this is coming from the west so should be ok as long as it does not wobble. Hope everyone in the path of the storm stays safe and damage is minimal. Be back later Charlene

Good Morning from a warm and sunny day at the beach Rained over night. Watching that storm coming to the gulf but I dont think it will come near us. I do like butternut squash but not sure of it with mac and cheese. Sign language is very important. My cousin works at a school for the deaf. She learned it years ago and has taught it to her kids and grands. Never been to todays port. It is distressing to see so many of our group with health and personal problems. I will keep you all in my prayers. I cant be on my golf team this fall because I will be gone for the "finals". I tried to use a substitute and me fill in but they said no. Oh well, I will have to just play for the love of the game. Not much happening here today. Water aerobics and then a few errands. Stay safe and enjoy today Charlene

Good Morning from a warm and sunny day at the beach Crazy thunderstorms last night with heavy rain. Not sure what todays forecast will be. I like butterscotch pudding and DD likes all pudding so I make it often. No to the salmon and have never been to todays port. I won the extra point at trivia the last time we had the notice of New Zealand. No one else knew except me! So thanks Dailylites! @mamaofami A very Happy Anniversay to you both. May you have a wonderful day. I am scheduled for the dreaded colonoscopy tomorrow so I will be "indisposed" most of today. Just routine. Dont expect any surprises. She really looked elegant. I wish them every wish for health and happiness. Safe travels home. @rafinmd Hope you are feeling stronger today. Went out to dinner with some good friends last nite. It was wonderful. Then we went to the Comedy club which was horrible! Not sure why the "comedian" thought it necessary to scream everything and jump all over the stage. Too much for me! Good Morning from a bright and sunny day at the beach Some very light rain last evening and that was it. There are storms with heavy rain and flooding all around us but not here. I will celebrate Literacy. Iguanas are funny little creatures. If it gets cold, they act dead and fall out of trees. Loved my own grandparents. A special shout out to all you grandparents. Been to Icy Straight on the 14 day Amsterdam in 2014. DS and DBIL went on the Zipline. They loved it! @jodi58 Congratulations on your new grandson Thomas! Good Morning from an overcast day at the beach I dont like being late and never intentionally do so. the worst is "those people" on an excursion. Cheese pizza is my favorite. I have never been to todays port- thanks for the pictures. I am not a fan of kale but do eat it on occasion. Waiting on the launch, it was scrubbed yesterday. Rescheduled until today. Skyscrapers are getting taller. I really enjoy a good burger.There was a machine that pressed pennies on one of our recent stops. Dont remember which one.
