There's no need to put "traditional owners" in quotes. They are the owners of Uluru as much as anyone else owns their own home.

As for the roll eyes, complain to the owners about not being allowed to climb Uluru after you've started allowing strangers climb onto the roof of your house because they feel like it.

as long as they will clean out the gutters ... go for it ... and I'll also provide the paint if they will touch up the chimney:classic_rolleyes:

We’ve had the same one for years, but I always book myself. She never advises when better deals come up. I do all the work myself and have to call her if I see a better deal.

My husband got an email about a players club discount. He called her and left a detailed message. She never called him back. When I went to make my final payment he price was $700 lower. I guess she reduced the fare which was great, but she could have had the decency to return his call 🤷🏽‍♀️

Our website doesn’t always have the most update information, but I have confirmed these terms and conditions based on your inquiry.

Also, the terms and conditions for Australia based cruises has changed to be available to pre purchase the PBP.

There’s no direct number for the inventory department so they can flag your booking or member account, because this is an internal department that will reach out to our guests as need be for voyages.

Since you are not incline to await my response or my service during my available work hours, then you are welcome to contact 800-princess at any time for immediate assistance.

I will withdraw my complimentary services as your cruise planner as I have other guest that are awaiting a response from me directly. Thank you for your business and we appreciate your loyalty to Princess Cruises.

Never have eaten there. How was it?

Anyone eaten at the Boatyard before sailng on the CB?

    we drove past it ...

we enjoyed a nice, very casual lunch at the Southport Raw Bar - we got outdoor seating , had a minimal wait for a table by our request ... it was this past Mothers Day, and place was packed when we left

also pet friendly if that matters

planning on going back in December , pre SKY cruise

  4. when we booked the SKY - seems like it was 500+ days from sailing - little 3 day inaugural - our booked balcony was   $ 100 pp more than the inside cabin across the hall...

cruise is still showing as "SOLD OUT" ( around 130 days out ) and has been for a long time now ...

would we take a move down offer of $ 100 pp to move to an inside cabin - NO

    $ 200 pp - NO

    $ 300 pp - Prolly

    $ 400 pp - What's our new cabin number ?

    so, yeah

And when you see "K" codes, those have non-refundable deposits.

Deposit of 10% per guest made under Christmas in July is non-refundable.

    Offer expires: July 30, 2019

    Reference promotion code: KG-/US-

so, the non-refundable code varies by promotion also ?....:classic_huh: ...:classic_ohmy: ...:classic_wacko:

Yes, when I was on the CB there was a way to make a custom fish or turtle on the interactive screens, and every time I walked by one of the big medallion screens in the elevator lobbies and such, I could see my little fish swimming around.  😃

    Yes, I am easily entertained!

    tag-a-long ...

For Landmark Sale you can choose a Refundable Deposit instead of a Non refundable Deposit with no loss of promos and at the same rates .

Book with a TA or ask Princess Rep for Rate Code N7A  or if your TA has a Speculative Group on your sailing , Rate Code Z7A will get you the Landmark promos as well as the Group rates , amenities and upgrades , with a Refundable Deposit.

If you merely book this Landmark Sale @ Princess.com , you will not see this Refundable option as a choice.

    Buyer Beware!

Of course they can as they connect to POLAR system - same as Princess reps use.  Now, whether they communicate those well with potential customers, I cannot say.

With my TA, I can see all the pricing plans on their booking pages (this is where they also show their discounted rates, so these are not public-facing pages as I believe all travel agencies are required to advertise with Princess prices).

I guess my next question would be ... do all cruises under the Landmark sale use the same codes ...N7A, Z7A ... or do they change for the different cruises, but still under Landmark ?

I can't find anything about a refundable option in the online information about the Landmark sale.  Where do you see that?

it's not online ... and that's the problem ... you have to call to get that info ... also on some promotions, there may also be fares for accepting the perk (SNSail), or a non perk lower price

    Enjoy !

If you're lucky when you call Princess you'll get a rep who knows their stuff, but maybe not.  Earlier this week I called regarding the Landmark sale and its refundable/non-refundable options.

I asked her to switch me to the refundable option.  Cost an extra $25pp for a 14-day cruise which I thought was worth it.

this is the thing to do now on ALL promotions that have a NON-Refundable deposit as the default

We just checked in to our hotel in Hollywood, and all I can say is, “WOW”!

Casa Pellegrino is wonderful. We were met by the owner’s son, who welcomed us with some of his mother’s homemade limoncello. They also knew we were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and decorated the room a bit for us. They are highly rated on all of the major sites, and they only have 10 or 12 rooms, so don’t delay booking if you’re the slightest bit interested. This hotel is not just an investment for them, it’s their child, and it shows in how they run things and how they treat their guests.

This makes no sense at all and certainly isn't good PR for Princess.  One hears about upgrades from time to time, but this is the first time anyone has reported a downgrade (and a really bad one).  Wonder if they think they can sell your cabin for more than you paid?  Can't think of any other reason, rational or irrational.

we here at Princess ... prefer it to be called a for limited time only , first come, first served, fantastic opportunity to keep the same sailing date, but to move 'down' to a different category room, and we will provide you with a fabulous FULLY REFUNDABLE amount of OBC !!!

due to our 'maximum generating inventory control procedures'

I just heard that the Princess military discount OBC  may not be used to pay for gratuities. Is that accurate? However, the military discount OBC may be used to purchase drinks, clothing, etc. onboard.  The military discount OBC may not be used in the casino;  I am pretty sure of that. Thanks for reply.

it is yet another "non-enforced" Princess 'policy' ...:classic_wacko:

Also, if the refundable is $25 or less, you can request cash at the Passenger Services desk at the end of the cruise.

it is my astute understanding ... that in my not so humble opinion ... that I agree you can request cash at the PSD at the end of the cruise ... and IF YOU FAIL TO DO SO ... that less than $25 goes POOFFFFFFFFFFFFF

I really hate it when people write super negative reviews and whine about petty little things so I'm gonna try real hard not to do that.

So. On to Seattle where we spent 24 hours. I'm just gonna be honest here. I didn't care for it. The homeless people are everywhere. They have a real problem there. We stayed at The Holiday Inn Express on Aurora Avenue, which was nice. The front desk lady told us we could walk down to Pike Place Market. And we did. FYI, if you haven't been to Seattle, it is NOT flat! Big hills. And they were having a heat wave the day we were there. Very hot. But at least it wasn't raining. Anyways, homeless people on every street corner. Some didn't bother us, some begged.

Pike Place Market was okay but I think its way overrated. Very crowded and spread all over the place. Eventually found the Star Bucks but it was lined right down the street. Enjoyed lunch out by the water and picked up some souvenirs.

A lot of people smoke pot in Seattle. It was quite rank down near the market. Interestingly, on a side note, when we flew back home at the end from SeaTac,  they had drug sniffing dogs at the airport. Never experienced that before.

The taxi drivers in Seattle are nuts. Hammer on the gas, slam on the brakes, the traffic there is crazy. Lots of construction.

Forgot to mention about Seattle and the homeless. The problem is so bad that our hotel's breakfast room was locked and you needed your room key to access. Apparently, the homeless like to come in. And when we were waiting for our shuttle to the port, a homeless man did indeed wander into the lobby and they escorted him out. If you stay at this hotel, they have a shuttle to port for $10 that they don't really advertise.

thanks for all the super-positive reports !!

Is it correct that the order in which credits are applied is:

    First - Refundable credits

    Second - Non-refundable

Example:  One has $100 refundable OBC and $100 non-refundable and spends $150 on board.

The $100 refundable would be applied first then $50 of the non-refundable.  At the end of the cruise one would have a credit balance of $50, but it is non-refundable.

    close ... just the opposite

It would seem that with the modifications associated with Medallion Class ships, and the reliance on cell phones and other devices to take advantage of the technology on ships more outlets would have also been added.

Princess is changing out lamps and replacing them with lamps that have a built in USB port ... at least that's a start...
