We were chatting with a couple from Wales last night on board our Caribbean cruise. We shared that one of our ports on a British Isles cruise in June is Dover. They said we might not be able to get into Dover because of all the immigrants coming into that port. Does anyone have more knowledge about this? What they said is that the captain might choose not to go there. And if that were so, what would be the alternative? We are sailing on the silhouette June 24, I believe is the date from Rotterdam

Two years ago during Chanukah RCCL offered a brisket dinner. My Catholic girlfriend ordered it. It was SO edible that the Maitre'd gave her a Chops steak the next night. (It was too late to have it the same night.)

So, I'd like to clarify my request. We are enjoying ballroom dance classes and I asked our instructor for enhancing our slow dance steps. She wanted to know what songs are common just so we have a repetoire for our classes. I suggested Georgia on My Mind and At Last but I couldn't think of more. I thought I'd request some titles, but this is not going well. I like The Look of Love idea. We'll be on a cruise next month and will write a list. I'm sorry I wasn't more direct in why I wanted the list.

I thought dinner in Chops was an amenity for suite guests on the first night. Am I wrong? I just saw my calendar as we just checked in and we do not have a dinner in a specialty on the first night. I always book a specialty restaurant on the first night if we aren't on one of the larger ships where the Coastal Kitchens are. Please let me know.

Does the Does this lounge have any windows or is it completely enclosed?

When we were on the Radiance two years ago, we were able to float easily between the two lounges as they were right next to each other. The Suite Lounge offered a free cocktail and appetizer time before dinner. Both had some type of food all day long. What do the Explorer lounges offer? Is there a free cocktail hour? I'm not sure where they are.

Here's what I don't understand. I just received an offer to Royal Up, but there are no cabins available for us to upgrade. ( It would be to a Royal Suite.) Why do they send these emails and even offer a suggested bid when they are booked?

We will be tendering in Edinburgh in June. Finally, Celebrity put up some shore excursions, but we choose to walk around the city. How do we get from the port to the city? Will there be a shuttle? I suppose there will be private taxis, but does the city or Celebrity arrange for anything? (One shore excursion offered is for $52 Celebrity will take us to the city to walk around by ourselves. I don't even know if they pick us up to bring us back to the port. Anyone have info?

I know there is a big discount on the day after Thanksgiving. I'm wondering if there is a major discount near another holiday, like Memorial Day or Easter? Right now my cruises to Australia/New Zealand is offering 5%. I'm hoping for a lot more!
