  1. Yeah, it was originally Cuba and then Nassau. I may be alone here, but I actually really like Nassau lol, I know a lot of people don't. I guess my question is more is it normal for them to just not even inform you.
  2. Sorry, lol details do help. When I booked our cruise, we were stopping in Nassau and now it says Princess Cays.
  3. Just wondering if it was normal practice for Carnival to change a port of call without any notification lol. Just found it very odd.
  4. Lido food- Guys burgers were okay as always. line is generally pretty crazy, but saw a few times it actually wasn’t too bad. Usually do a plain Jane and put the toppings on myself. Pizza was good-never really seemed to have enough made, but no big deal. Funghi and Quattro formaggi are my favorites. Deli-we love the new sandwiches, particularly the buffalo chicken. It does take a bit of time, but nothing crazy. Between us we tried the tuna, ham and cheese, tomato mozzarella, meatball and beef jerky. Buffet-didn’t eat too much off of it, but generally looked pretty low when we walked by. None of us did sushi or bbq. Seafood shack- I’ve been wanting to try this for a few cruises now and never got around to it. To be honest, I wish I would have skipped it. It took 45 minutes to get which I thought was a bit much. All I ordered was a lobster roll and some raw oysters that the boys wanted to try. They said the oysters were good, they had never had them and I refuse to try them lol. The lobster roll was the worst I’ve ever had. I’m from New England, so I know my expectations may be slightly higher than normal, but it was just not good. There was SO much mayonnaise that’s all you could taste, and it definitely wasn’t a good mayo either. It was also on this thick brioche bread which was pretty bizarre to me.
  5. I do like this class as well. I’ve been on the Glory a few times and have loved it every time.
  6. Service on this ship doesn’t seem to compare to other ships, and I felt this last year as well. It’s not the worst, and there are definitely some good staff on it, but overall I haven’t found it to be like other ships. I only saw my room steward one time, he stopped in to have us fill out when wanted our room to be taken care of. The casino bar was the slowest I’ve ever seen. It was almost impossible to get a drink sometimes. (Including the staff that serves you while playing) Our dining room waiter, Victor was phenomenal. He was very attentive and paid attention to every detail. We ate in the dining room twice for breakfast. The first day the service was horrible. He missed a lot of what we ordered. He did the same for the table next to us. He ended up having to tell them that the kitchen was closed and that they could get any additional food they wanted to up on the lido deck. It went much better the next day. The steakhouse service was decent. We do love the manager, Nikolina. We’ve had her before and she remembered us, that’s always a nice feeling.
  7. We tried to see a show a couple of times and didn’t get to. We got their 15 minutes early, and it was already standing room only.
  8. This review will be my opinion, and maybe only mine lol you are more than welcome to disagree 😀 Let’s start with the ship. I don’t love the decor whatsoever. I think the atrium is pretty, but that’s about it. It doesn’t make or break a cruise for me, but it’s just a note. A lot of it is starting to look really run down. There are a few places that aren’t used anymore, and I think it would look a lot better if the space was utilized in another way, instead of just being closed down. It kind of gives it an abandoned town look. Then cabin hallways generally smelled pretty bad. I know this can easily be an issue, but I’ve noticed it more on this ship. A lot of the doors to public restrooms are getting very hard to open.
  9. My apologies for the delay- I neglected to use sunscreen while we were at the beach. Don’t ever do that ever. Lol
  10. Just got off of the Liberty. I didn't take a ton of pictures, but I'll be leaving a small review shortly. I'll answer questions if I can! 😀 This was my 11th Carnival cruise, my second time on the Liberty. I can safely say I am not a fan of this ship. I had a great cruise anyway, because any day in the sea is better than a day on land.
  11. Anyone have the current 3 day menu? 😀
