Is it possible to go to solo cruiser events onboard, even if you are not a solo cruiser? It would be nice to make some like-minded friends—and sometimes I need a break from the family I travel with…

That’s bogus. Btw I did notice when looking at our cruise’s current information, it says the air credit is $1500. But we booked it over a year ago, so different terms??

Has anyone ever used silversea air going to the cruise, but made your own air arrangements for the return? If so, did you get a partial air credit? Thanks.

Thanks. If I can ever make contact with my consultant I’m about ready to do that. I’m especially nervous about having them change our flights at the last minute, even if they correct them now to reasonable itineraries. It will be interesting to see what happens with the credit, as we booked an extra SS hotel night in Santiago, which we would like to keep.

Would you mind sharing what flight credit Silversea gave you? And did they take away the transfers in Santiago to and from the airport and hotel? We are doing Antarctica cruise as well, and have been tearing our hair out trying to deal with Silversea air. Our flights posted in May and are completely and utterly unacceptable. Our cruise consultant with Silversea has also been MIA for weeks now— multiple emails not responded to since mid-May. I did get a phone call after leaving a voicemail back in May, since then nothing. Not what I expected when we booked! Thanks.
