  1. If you want a real historical experience, take the ferry from the Dockyard to St. George. Walk around the historical streets, go to Bermuda Perfumery, St. Peter’s Church, Somer’s Garden etc.  Walk up hill to unfinished church and take a horse and carriage ride with Crystal - she is so knowledgeable and fun, she will take you to a fort and by a tiny  small beach. You can catch her around the White Horse Tavern near the town square.  Town Hall is interesting too!  The ferry also leaves late afternoon to go back to dockyard. It’s a 45 min ride and interesting sights along the way.  Yes it’s a different vibe.

  2. This is a great carriage ride, we have done it several times. Mr. Lewis Perinchief was the driver, his horses were Kip and Cody. I really hope this is not the man who passed away. He was so sweet!

  3. St. George's in not to be missed, it is very interesting! If you do shop, go to the Island Shop at Somer's Wharf. Our favorite is to take a horse and carriage ride with Mr. Lewis Perinchief, his horses are Kip and Cody and he is so knowledgeable of St. George's. There's a sea glass beach on the route. Short bus ride to Swizzle Inn near St. George's on the way to Hamilton is always in our plan! We always spend more time in St. George's than Hamilton, it is so unique! Hopefully you will get off the ship early enough to catch the 9:30 ferry!! Have fun!!

  4. Last sea day, there were 2 of us, we are in our 50's. Not about the food, it wasn't really that good, but creative. Was a little early for the last sea day, but that was okay with us.

Wouldn't book it again (you have to I think the 1st day), but it was interesting. Some people dressed up in Dr. Suess attire..that would have made it a little more fun, since they come around and take photos.

  5. Great review!!..we were on 7th floor too and our friends were in 7116 and part of the WPT! After 22 cruises, this was the most fun and entertaining! Awesome captain!!

We disembarked self assist and we went off with no wait at all, took about 30 min to get to the car in the parking lot. We had been to Labadee before, so we went to Sandbar Island getaway..what an experience..relaxing, not crowded..a fun boat trip over and back and beautiful! In Jamaica we did Martha Brae river rafting and enjoyed it tremendously! The Jamaican lunch afterwards was very good! In Cozumel we swam with the manatees...that was awesome!! Still wishing we were there!!

  6. The carriage tours are a great way to see Nassau and not have to walk around. Ask for Omar and his horse Ginger! He is so nice and knows so much about Nassau and he will stop or slow down for you to get pics. Ask for him and don't let them tell you he's not there, he is usually and he may be taking someone on a tour, wait for him- he's the best! If you need to tell him a couple from NC told you to ask for him - he will know!

  7. Enjoyed your review! Great pics! We were on the Dream Nov. 2nd Eastern. We have been on 11 Carnival cruises and the Dream to us was the worst as far as dining. The staff seemed overworked and tired. Adrian was fun. I Gede was pleasant but didn't say much. We heard lots of other cruisers saying that something just wasn't right, the food wasn't up to par as had been on other Carnival ships. Thanks again for all the pics you posted a wonderful review!

  8. We just got off the Pride last week #5188 obstructed view, it was great! Couldn't look straight down at the water but could see straight out and around! Check the deck plan and look at the lifeboats - you may want to move back a little, the first 3 lifeboats are bigger and taller, ours in front of us was smaller and it was fine.
