  1. The refund for the taxes and fees will show up eventually.
  2. Just received a text message from Celebrity - IT IS OFFICIAL - all sailings on or before November 30th, 2020 have been cancelled. "Celebrity Cruises will be extending the suspension of global operations for all sailings departing on or before November 30th, 2020, as well as our Winter 2020/21 season in Asia and Australia. Unfortunately, our extended suspension now includes cancellation of your upcoming voyage. "
  3. Unfortunately I also did not save or print the entire list. However I did print a partial list pages 4 to 6. Celebrity Cancelled Cruises Phase 8 (partial list pages 4 to 6) 10-06-2020.pdf
  4. It was previously available but now it looks like they are blocking access to the list of recently cancelled bookings.
  5. Glad to finally receive this information. We have (had) 3 cruises booked in November on Reflection (Nov 2, Nov 13 & Nov 23) which are now CANCELLED. Part of these cancelled cruises were paid for with FCC from previously cancelled cruises. Now I have to figure out how much cash and FCC to expect from these cancelled cruises to apply to our 3 February cruises on Equinox. I miss cruising. Bob (and Terry)
  6. Because the cruise lines continuing existence is based on executing this correctly. If the cruise lines screw this up and get shut down again, they are out of business.
  7. If cruising doesn't resume from the US until summer 2021 I don't think ANY of the cruise lines will survive.
  8. We also use the butler's services a lot. I addition to meals served in the room (usually breakfast) we also host several cocktail parties in the suite. The butler handles liquor, wine and food and well as party setup (we pay for any additional charges). We really appreciate his attention. In addition to the standard automatic tips, we give the butler an additional tip of between $15 to $20 per day. Bob (and Terry)
  9. Easy answer. Mask can only be removed for eating/drinking when you are sitting down. Walking around drinking without mask not allowed. Walking around eating without mask not allowed. The cruise lines have to get this right if they are going to survive. They have no choice. If they screw this up and get shut down again after being allowed to restart, they are out of business.
  10. I totally agree and support the above. Your comment "we cruisers can help the industry recover" is very important for everyone to understand. I couldn't have said it better.
  11. As I understand the requirements, mask on unless you are sitting down and drinking/eating. Walking around drinking without mask not allowed. Walking around eating without mask not allowed. The cruise lines have to get this right if they are going to survive. They have no choice. If they screw this up and get shut down again after being allowed to restart, they are out of business.
  12. Medical exemptions SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. If allowed, this will only lead to many problems and many people trying to game the system. "if he doesn't have to wear a mask why should I have to wear a mask". If you cannot wear a mask, then you cannot go on the cruise. Cruise lines make the rules and everyone needs to respect the rules. No Mask = No Cruise. PERIOD. End of discussion.
