I reserved on the Atlantis website.  $380.  Also filled out Aquaventure waivers prior to arriving.  We decided to take the paradise island ferry over.  This is in the cruise terminal area.  Do not leave the security area!  Costs $7 pp.  Cash only.  A short ferry ride over.  A LONG walk to the ticket entrance!  We showed our enail notification receipt, were given wrist bands and went inside.

This place surprisingly is not crowded.  We went on all the rides easily with zero lines.  We walked on the beach, looked at tbs exhibits.  We decided to buy refillable sodas for $6.25 each.  You do need a credit card here.  There are many shops and restaurants.  There are no vendors.  Place is just breathtaking.  We are still here.  Wifi is great.  No charge to connect.  We brought our towels from the ship.

    $380 for how many people?

The only possibilities will be in New Jersey.

At one time two hotels in Ridgefield Park, the Hilton Garden Inn and the Hampton Inn offered packages that included transportation to the Manhattan Cruise Terminal . Check them out to see if they still do.

Also Trinityreservations.com has usually offered some hotels that have packages including transportation to Manhattan Cruise Terminal.  Check their website.

Thanks for your info! I called the Hampton inn and it is $309 plus taxes for one night and up to 10 nights parking as well as the shuttle to and from the port. Thanks again!

There is a trail with lots of stairs through the woods from the Married Man Trail up to the lodge. It is a nice climb for those who are able. We went up that trail to the lodge and down a stairs on the other side on our way to the Totem Heritage. Center.

I wish I could, hills and steps I have an issue with, both my hips are done and no one wants to do hip replacement because I’m not old enough! Maybe there’s taxis in the port, I didn’t pay attention to that last year

We were in Ketchikan twice in 2021 after the Alaska Tourism Recovery Act was passed and limited cruises were able to operate in Ketchikan.  I asked two different locals and received two different answers.

We were again in Ketchikan twice in 2022.  Asked locals again and again received different answers.  But a Cape Fox Lodge employee (the lodge owns the funicular) wasn't optimistic due to the high maintenance costs and corrosive air due to being in close proximity to salt water.

Is there another way to visit the lodge? It looks like it has a nice store and lots of taxidermy.

The staff is amazing.  Our room steward Putu room 6234 was the best we have had in 20+ cruises.  The casino staff also stood out.  If you go, look up Richmond, he will bring a smile to your face.  He and the casino team were very kind and "patient" with someone learning some of the table games.

The only thing that we didn't like was that there was a staff smoking area just below our room on deck 4 and the smoke rose and was very bothersome on the balcony and came into our room.  We came back from an  excursion and our room smelled like a cigar.  Yuck!

Oh no! That’s my room next week!

  6. We are cruising out of Seattle in august and are flying into Vancouver to stay with family for a few days prior to the cruise in Pitt meadows. Our family has said they could drive us to the port but that would be a long day there and back for them. I was looking at quick shuttle and the amtrak. Am I right in my research that these are both buses? It seems like the quick shuttle would take us right to the port but can get delayed, and the amtrak is quicker with less delays but doesn’t get us to the port. Has anyone done this recently? Or have any other insight? I looked at flights and they are extremely expensive.

I just looked on their website and the water park/Atlantis day pass as $250 per adult 😳

I am having trouble finding a day pass just to go and look around (I may be looking in the wrong area).

We were thinking on going as well until I saw it was $250 each! We are looking at Margarittaville resort instead, it is $59 per person, it does not look as spectacular as Altantis but much more affordable, and its within walking distance to the port.
