I see everyone talking about bottles, but will they allow you to declare a box of wine? And if so, does anyone know what the standard fee (if I'm not lucky enough to be charged the $15 ) is?

On the Spirit I used the buy $10, get $10 in free slot play. I wound up $2.50 ahead (total winnings of $12.50). Better than nothing.
That's my kind of win!!! :p I walk out with my money (maybe a little of their money) and I've been entertained for a bit!

Don't want to be the only single on my next cruise. My grandma used to say that the best way to get what you want is to ask for it. So I am:).
I'm thinking on going on my first single/solo cruise in January or February.
Great post (and idea!!!) Mahalia! Wish I would have thought of it
I'm F/35 and while I won't be alone (traveling with a friend, F/40) it would be nice to hang out with some single people rather than couples. We'll be on NCL Spirit May 1, 2011!

So they only allow bottles, and if they are in a good mood might allow a box of wine? I don't mind paying the corkage fee, but I would hate to show up with a box and have them take it from me.
Has anyone experienced declaring a box of wine and having it taken away, or been allowed to take it on?
