  1. Unfortunately BOGO hasn't been available - they've exchanged it for Chops+1 which is slightly less than the 3-dinner package. That makes the 3-dinner package more attractive.
  2. Its my understanding that if you purchase it in advance, it would include the gratuity as opposed to purchasing it onboard. You may want to take that into consideration. You can purchase it in advance and always change the date if necessary.
  3. Is that something that is still offered? I don't see it in the cruise planner and wonder whether it's offered occasionally. We cruise in September. I've been getting emails like "You'd better open soon for something special!" and there is never anything different, the specials always appear to be the same.
  4. If you book with a TA, do you risk losing your "perks" when rebooking at a different price?
  5. I apologize if this was posted multiple times. . .can you delete your posts?
  6. In my cruise planner: Overview Savor the savings with the Ultimate Dining Package! For one low price, you can enjoy dinner at our specialty restaurants every night of your sailing. And as an added perk, you’ll also get to eat lunch in our specialty restaurants on sea days. Plus, enjoy a discount of 40% off bottles of wine under $100 and 20% off bottles above $100 while dining in specialty restaurants. A courtesy reservation will be made for the first night of your cruise based on your preferred dining time. You will receive your courtesy reservation confirmation in your stateroom on the first day of your cruise. All additional reservations or changes to your courtesy reservation must be made once onboard at any specialty restaurant. For restaurants with a la carte pricing, you’ll receive a $35 food credit.*
  7. Was the FNDR offered prior to the sailing or was it offered after you boarded?
  8. It was my understanding that the "tip" (service charge?) was included when the packages or dinners were purchased prior to sailing, however, I thought I had heard someone say that if you purchased the dinner onboard, not in advance, an additional 18% was added to your check - the prices could be the same (pre-sailing or onboard), but an additional 18% was being tacked on if purchased onboard. I was trying to figure out if there is an advantage to purchasing in advance. And, yes, regardless, we do tip cash in addition to any service charge automatically billed. . .
  9. Are you spared the 18% service charge on specialty dining (either individually or in a group package) if purchased prior to sailing?
  10. It is my understanding that they aren't "true" refrigerators. Not sure what use they are for.
  11. Did it on the Allure last year and we enjoyed it as a one-time thing. It was interesting to see the different sections of the galley and the meal was enjoyable (limited selections/table service) and mimosas non-stop. There was lots of time given for Q & A.
  12. 4 cruises a year for 20+ years only equals Diamond+? I'll never be a Pinnacle! I'm glad the Key is available :-)
  13. How do you meet and mingle in the ice rink? Sitting in stadium type seating is unconducive to mingling. . . My husband and I have never attended an M&M but have signed up for the 9-15-19 HOS M&M - I was looking forward to it but maybe not so much now. . .
  14. Loving your positive live review! And I'm going to make a run for Hobby Lobby and make one of those signs - adorable!
