  1. I do like a good margarita. When I ordered one from the pool bar, they dropped a shot of tequila on top of the drink and it was a nasty tasting tequila. I don't like a margarita mix, but made from scratch. Will they make one from scratch? Should I ask for a particular brand of tequila? We'll be on Harmony in September - would I be better off ordering a margarita at Sabor? I thought it would be okay to drop this in the tequila thread :-)
  2. Yes, my hand-eye-ear coordination isn't the best under pressure which is why I am one of those Bongo people . The machines work better for me! But because of the cost and the crowds (we were packed like sardines in one of the smaller bars) the last time we played on Allure, I don't know that we'll be doing it again when we sail on Harmony in September. . .
  3. How early can you check your luggage at the port without worrying about checking in? Breakfast at Grills or Fish Lips sounds great but no desire to lug our bags around with us.
  4. They were given advance notice that this was going to be happening. It might have been worth it to stay out a little later so the crew could get their well-deserved reward or, better yet, go join the festivities!
  5. Unfortunately BOGO hasn't been available - they've exchanged it for Chops+1 which is slightly less than the 3-dinner package. That makes the 3-dinner package more attractive.
  6. Its my understanding that if you purchase it in advance, it would include the gratuity as opposed to purchasing it onboard. You may want to take that into consideration. You can purchase it in advance and always change the date if necessary.
  7. Is that something that is still offered? I don't see it in the cruise planner and wonder whether it's offered occasionally. We cruise in September. I've been getting emails like "You'd better open soon for something special!" and there is never anything different, the specials always appear to be the same.
  8. If you book with a TA, do you risk losing your "perks" when rebooking at a different price?
  9. I apologize if this was posted multiple times. . .can you delete your posts?
  10. In my cruise planner: Overview Savor the savings with the Ultimate Dining Package! For one low price, you can enjoy dinner at our specialty restaurants every night of your sailing. And as an added perk, you’ll also get to eat lunch in our specialty restaurants on sea days. Plus, enjoy a discount of 40% off bottles of wine under $100 and 20% off bottles above $100 while dining in specialty restaurants. A courtesy reservation will be made for the first night of your cruise based on your preferred dining time. You will receive your courtesy reservation confirmation in your stateroom on the first day of your cruise. All additional reservations or changes to your courtesy reservation must be made once onboard at any specialty restaurant. For restaurants with a la carte pricing, you’ll receive a $35 food credit.*
  11. Was the FNDR offered prior to the sailing or was it offered after you boarded?
  12. It was my understanding that the "tip" (service charge?) was included when the packages or dinners were purchased prior to sailing, however, I thought I had heard someone say that if you purchased the dinner onboard, not in advance, an additional 18% was added to your check - the prices could be the same (pre-sailing or onboard), but an additional 18% was being tacked on if purchased onboard. I was trying to figure out if there is an advantage to purchasing in advance. And, yes, regardless, we do tip cash in addition to any service charge automatically billed. . .
  13. Are you spared the 18% service charge on specialty dining (either individually or in a group package) if purchased prior to sailing?
